My Dr asked me to do the pregnancy test on May 08 I know , still 2 weeks more to wait but it feels like years. Im so excited to see 2 beuatiful dark lines :-) i hope this is my we get it on first try of clomid.

hope all is well. i am doing very well. i will be 8 weeks tomorrow. i heard the heartbeat on monday..it was the most wonderful sound in the world. i am so happy to finally have reached this point in my life and i am looking forward to every day.

Hi FLGIRLAZ it is so nice to hear from you. I have been worried about you but I am so glad that things are okay....well sort of okay...nobody likes to be "sick and tired". I was surprised as well that there was only one baby that stuck but I am so happy, everything works out for a reason. I think my husband is secretly relieved that it is only one, I am just thrilled to be pregnan, one or two babies. I guess you have double the symptoms because you have double the babies in there :). I hope things settle for you once you get past the 12 wk mark. I have had symptoms I have some mild feelings of dizziness and nausea (without throwing up.....I just feel like my stomach is constantly turning) and the typical fatigue and sore breasts. What did you mean...are you having contractions, I have not felt anything like that at all. Have you mentioned it to your OB yet, lets hope you don't have to go on bed rest again!!!!!!!
We have told our daughter (who will be six in June) and it has been so sweet to watch her reactions. She has kissed my belly about 50 times today and already wants to go shopping for the baby AND get this she doesn't want to know the sex of the baby and wants it to be surprise. I am leaving for California tomorrow and I will be meeting my mom there and I will let my daughter tell her so we can start planning all together for this baby. We plan on telling the rest of the family on Mother's day when we are back from our trip.

Thank you all for this very inspiring blog. I find it very helpfull. I am 32 married for 1yr and 3 months. We started to have baby since January this year. My OB diagnosed me with PCO with retroverted ovary. By the way I only have 1 ovary, my right ovary removed when I was 17 yrs old. I just started my first try of clomid just this April Cd3-7day.. now i just got the result of my U/S and found out that i have 3 big follies... 20mm.. Im so excited like you guys to see the result. I do pray for all of the women in the world who love to bear child like me that one morning got the little angel inside of us.

Hey Ladies, sorry that I have been so absent on the blog. Sounds like a lot of exciting things are happening in everyone's lives. As for me, life has been very busy and I have been sick as a dog. I am always tired and ALWAYS sick to my stomach. The babies are already causing me trouble :-). Along with feeling like ****, we had my oldest sister in town from FL for 6 days (not the crazy sister). They are a very active family of 5 with 3 girls that range in age from 7-13. I had to excuse myself a few times to go lay down. I am so ready to start feeling better. My DR said I should start feeling better after 12wks, only 4 more weeks to go! My next appt at the DR is this Friday which they will do another u/s and do blood work (OBGYN). Last Monday was my last appt. at the fertility clinic and no longer have to do any shots. Questions for all my pregnant friends, I have been experiencing severe conceptions. Is anyone else experiencing the same and if so what are you doing to help it.
Leatha: I am so excited for you!! I am in shock that there is not more than one baby in there since you levels were so high but the good thing is that you are at least expecting!! Have you told anyone yet? Are you experiencing any symptoms?

Hi ladies just following through with my u/s update. I have one beautiful baby growing inside of me. I even got to see the little heart just a beating away. I am one happy lady tonight.
Thanks for your thoughts, I have just barely got through this far, but I can see Tuesday looming ahead like a large beacon. Then I get to see what's what and if I have one little one or more! Your numbers were so high I thought for sure you had two! so maybe who knows for me.......we get to find out TUESDAY. What is next for you do you get another u/s or another prenatal done at your clinic soon? How many weeks are you now? I have my first prenatal next week then probably not until week 10 or 11. :Have a great Easter,

hi ladies! i went for my ultrasound today and saw the babies heartbeat. it was the most amazing thing i have ever seen. i am so thrilled!! FLGIRLAZ: i agree it is the most amazing thing. i go next week to hear the heart beat.

I have no idea why they wait so freggin long to do an u/s ....trust me the thought has crossed my mind to go in and get one done anyways. We have a new u/s office here in town that does the 3D imaging......we are definetely going there at some time even if I have to pay for it myself!!!!

Call me crazy but I have already started reviewing names. I listed some off to my husband the other night and I know he doesn't like a name when he makes some silly remark or does some imitation of the name....he had me in stitches laughing so hard and when he does that I can never use the name again because he has made this funny association with it.
I know what you mean about being tired, everyday around 11am I lie down on the couch while my daugher plays in the living room with her dolls and around 5 pm I get another wave of tiredness.

Great news...... We heard the babies heart beats today!! We went in for our first OBGYN appt and right away he did a U/S and we saw their little hearts beating and then heard them! It was amazing. We go in to our fertility office on Monday to have another U/S done and go into the OBGYN in 2 weeks for another appt in which they will do ANOTHER U/S. For the first trimester the dr. wants me to come in every 2wks so he can monitor the babies. As for feeling pregnancy, well, I have been so sick and so tired! The dr. did give me meds today for the nausea which I hope will work! We have some names picked out but really going to wait till we find out the sex of the babies.

hey girls! i just wanted to say a quick hello as it is very late and i am exhausted. i go for an ultrasound on monday. i think my clinic keeps me until 8 weeks and then they refer me back as long as everyting is good. talk to you tomorrow.
Hello everyone, I have had a pretty uneventful week and seem to just keep looking at the calendar waiting until April 14th to roll around. I am finally feeling more and more pregnant, my bbs are sore and tender and I am really tired, not very hungry and at times a little nauseous. I love each and every symptom, I embrace every little creak and stretch of my uterus.
Your numbers are high babypie.....you would think that they probably did miss someone. When do you go for another u/s? I know what you mean about shouting it to the world, right now we are keeping it private until I see the u/s and know for sure that things are viable. I have almost let it slip a couple of times too...and I am dying to share it with my family and friends.....but in a way it's nice to keep it private too right now.
How long do you ladies stay with your clinic before you get referred to an OB? When do they take over your pregnancy? I think that I stay with them until 10 weeks then I get referred to an OB in my area.
So what is happening with you FLGIRLAZ....do you have any more u/s booked? Have you started to think of baby names....lol....Are you happy to be back home again...I love going away but I also love coming back home again.
When are you leaving on your vacation DocR? and where are you going? I think that it is a wise idea to take the time and go and relax and enjoy yourselves before going into another cycle. How many eggs did you get at your first retrieval and how many did you transfer? Are you planning on using the same clinic the next time?

I am doing a three week "raw food" chef course in California both my husband and I are raw vegan so this is a pretty exciting thing for us. I am a little worried about being pregnant and doing the course but I have no qualms about sitting something out if I need too.
The other issue I have is that my mil wants us to go to Bulgaria with her in May...that scares me a little bit....I told my husband that if we book we get the ultimate insurance package so I can back out at the last minute if I want too.
So that's my news for now...have a great evening.

I am feeling good. i got my numbers from yesterday and HCG is 6340 so it is looking good. i am wondering if they missed someone in there, lol!!
FLGIRLAZ: I am sorry to hear about your sister but don't let that get to you. i am so happy that the rest of your family is thrilled for you. Yesthey were able to see the yolk sac, the baby is so tiny.. i am calling it my little bean. i framed the little pic they gave me. we have told a few and the news spread from there but that is ok.. i am just so happy i want to yell it out!

We didn't have any embies to freeze, so we are starting at ther beginning again. Had phone consult with Dr and he wants us to start again at the end of April. It will be bad timing as we will be gone on vacation. He recommended we could find a clinic to get the CD3 and all....no way! We need a little time away and will likely do again in May. I am focused on working out again, and shopping for our trip. 10 days in the sun and sand...cannot wait.

FLGIRLAZ that is too funny about your sister, she sounds like a real drama queen. I feel a bit sorry for her because she doesn't seem to be able to see the good in life only the negative. I know some negative people like her and they seem to feed off the drama and the negative emotions (and if there aren't any they CREATE them). When I encounter people (and relatives like that....I have a few myself) I always repeat the phrase in my head "oh poor old thing" in a kind and loving empathetic way. This way I don't absorb their negativity/anger and it creates a compassionate feeling for their horrendous selfish behaviour.....anyways just a little tidbit about what I do when I encounter the "negative" relatives. I'm glad you got to celebrate with your other relatives and that is just so adorable about your mom.....the proud grandma already showing off u/s pictures...oh it just makes me want to cry.

Hi Ladies!!!! Sorry that I have not been online for the last few day. Well, the bomb exploded!!!! My sister that I told you guys about totally freaked out on Sat. night. and went home early! It all started when I landed in FL on Friday night, from the time I got off the airplane, all she could say was negative. When I told her that we were expecting twins her response was, "don't get to excited because you could lose one or both of them". It was late and I was tired so I did not say anything. On Sat. when I got to my moms house she had a total melt down saying that she was under a lot of stress, blah blah blah... When she arrived at my sister-in-laws baby shower she was being a total "B****" to everyone and when she would talk to anyone she had a attitude. That night when we got to my moms, the bomb totally exploded!!! She went crazy! Needless to say, I confronted her about what she said to me at the airport and her negative attitude and she proceeded to attack me and my mom more. She left quickly. My mom received a email stating "that she was sorry and it is hard for her because she is under so much stress and it is hard to see everyone so happy". My thought is, isn't everyone under a lot of stress and haven't us all went through a rough time in our lives? My thought on the matter right now is that I am tired of the drama and her actions that lead to this crazy behavior (rest of my family feels the same way). Anyways, as for me telling the rest of my family, it went very well. They are over joyed and very supportive of have twins in the family! My mom now carries around the U/S picture with her in her purse, just in case she runs into someone and needs to tell them. Besides the drama on Sat. my trip to FL has been good. I have been feeling pretty good. Still feeling very tired, a little nauseous and get out of breath easy but not to much to complain about. I leave here on Wed and already am ready to be back at home. I have a OBGYN appt. on Friday and next Monday we go in to hear the babies heartbeats.
Leatha: I am sooooooo excited for you!!!! The 3rd time was the charm!!! WEWHOOOOOO!!!!! And you are defiantly pregnant with more than 1. I am thinking it could be triplets!!!! My nurse told me that she normally sees over 1000 on the first beta normally means that it is triplets. That is so exciting.. Remember to take it easy and don't do 2 much! I bet you are over the moon!!! So your u/s is next Monday?

SM33176: Welcome to our chats!! Like you, this was my first IVF and in which I did indeed get pregnant and its twins!!! This journey is very stressful and puts tons of pressure on your body! Don't worry to much about the procedures as they were not the hard part of this journey. The 2ww after is challenging but keep busy and it will go by faster!!! I look forward to learning more about you!!! Tons of positive baby thoughts to you!!!!!
