Early pregnancy bloods back, need advice please?

I had some prenatal bloods done yesterday and I'm a little confused about the results.

I am 5+3 by LMP and 19dpo

My bhCG was 5942, and my progesterone 69, which are both higher than I expected!

Does anyone have any insight?  I was expecting repeat bloods tomorrow to look for a rise in bhCG, but am now off for an untrasound instead.

Thanks, Rebecca

Thanks for all your help & kind wishes yesterday

I had my scan today which showed just one sack & yolk ,,, but two bright spots within the yolk!  It's too early to say yes or no to twins, but the scan & my bloods make it suspicious.

They will repeat the scan in two weeks, when they will be able to see for sure

The clue will be the ultrasound and add lab work if that shows nothing.  good luck..

Thanks 5preg2b

I know that I am absolutely spot on for dates as I've been charting, so know exactly when ovulation occured

Is this realy a sign of multiples ... my husband is 50 & we have a daughter of 13 months!
