Let's keep our thread rollin, Cycle Buddies!!! # 6. new posting

Good morning, ladies & Happy Wednesday ! :)  Thought it was time for a new thread.  Hopefully we can get back to posting more often, like we used to when we started this thread so long ago! :)

I'm cd15 & still waiting for my +opk, then I'll have my doctor's appt the next morning.  I discovered something pretty interesting when looking through my bbt charts for the past 5 months.  I fluctuate each month by getting my first + on cd13, then cd15, then cd13, then cd15, etc.  Last month I got my first + on cd13, so if I get it today, that will be too funny! :)

Have a great day !!!

Here is vortex's latest update:
Leighanne:  BFP - 19 weeks
vortex: BFP - 10 weeks and next u/s is only on 12/2
Michelle: BFP
Jessie:  CD5
MamaTina: CD5
Stacey: CD10
arlotheslug: CD14
mommyin09:  CD15
Candie: CD28/11dpo?
joyce: CD31 and 17dpo

Candie: Hey!! 4dpo!!! I was still spotting some brown/watery stuff yesterday, and my temps haven't really drop as they should. I have to go this week for a u/s so I will see then what is going on, do you know if a cyst can make my temp rise?

candie,  yes my first OB is coming up....OCT 28, i can't wait...lol

well i broke and when i saw two AWESOME deals on ebay for unisex clothes(enough to last first 2-3 months anyhow) and bottles (17 AVENT) i grabbed them.  so i should be pretty much set as for buying anything until around christmas/or tax time.  is it unusual to go ahead and buy baby things for christmas even though he/she/they wont be here for another 5 months after that????  anyhow i just couldnt pass up the stuff on ebay but when it gets here i am not going to open it, just write my due date on the side of the box so i know what it is and put it away.  i am very excited though about everything.  i figure come january(tax time) i will go ahead and buy the crib, bassinet, and all of the extras(bathtub, diapers, wipes, get all stocked up)

anyhow thanks for listening to me go on and on, i have noticed that with this pregnancy i end up getting off topic when i talk to anyone and i am sure that kids are thinking i am going nutso.  but i send out tons of supersticky babydust for those who need it, and for those who already have a sticky bean tons of supersticky preggodust to keep the bean stuck.

Good morning everyone!  My temps went up Fri and have stayed up, so it looks like I'm 4 dpo now.

Keyan - Hopefully AF has left you alone by now!  How are you?

Jessie - I noticed you posted new pics - they are adorable!!  :)  I know what you mean about trying to get to appts, but not wanting anyone at work to know.  Hopefully you won't have to worry about it much longer!

icierain - Not sure about that Clomid dosage.  I guess it's because you didn't respond to the lower dosage and didn't get AF.  Are you having any side effects?  I hope it works for you this time!

leighanne - That is so hard to believe that you're at 21 wks already.  How exciting that you started your registry!  It's probably starting to feel very real now.  I agree, I don't know what I'd do without everyone's support here.

joyce - I'm happy to hear everything is continuing to go well.  Your dr appt should be coming up soon, right?

vortex - It's great to hear from you!  I'm glad everything is continuing to go so well and that your tests came back OK.  I can't wait to see those new u/s pics.  I bet they are amazing.  Hopefully you can get some rest now.  That's so cool that you told your parents, they must be so excited!

Stacey - Hope you had a great Thanksgiving!

mommyin09 - How are you doing?  Did you get your prog results yet?  The 2ww is almost over!  :)

luvkayln - I hope everything is going OK.

Arlotheslug - I know, I'm at work too, but I gotta check in on my friends first!  :)  How was your weekend?

Hi ladies! I had a blood test on friday, bfn. So they gave me provera to induce a period. Tomorrow is my last day of pills, and af hasn't shown yet. My RE said it varies on when you'll start, but hopefully it'll be soon so i can get another cycle going. I obviously had an annovulatory cycle...  Not too happy about that, because it was just a wasted cycle! :(  Sorry, internet has been down at home, and i have to check in at work, so i don't have time to read over the posts. Hope everyone is doing ok!

Stacey, Candie, Mommyin09--- How are you???? I miss talking to you!! :*(

joyce- the first trimester is tough.  i also freaked over every ache and twinge.  i even went to the ER once and an emergency appt with my doctor once.  you will find that you have many strange aches and pains and they are totally normal.  it is mostly stretching and round ligament pains.    you will get through it though.  use this forum to help ease your mind and also ask me any questions.  i might not be able to answer them all but i will try.

vortex- your mom must be thrilled.  how are you feeling?  that is great that your insurance covered the testing.  did you have the ultrasound that goes along with the testing yet?  i always ask to speak to a supervisor because you get no where when you speak to regular customer service.  i will be 21 weeks tomorrow.    you are almost into your 2nd trimesterm YEAH.

Good morning ladies. Sorry for the long post. I have a lot to catch up after a week :).

I went in for the Nuchal test and the measurement was normal. I am waiting for the blood test. Will get it by next weekend. I will soon post the pictures from the u/s. DH could finally recognize things and he was very happy that no one have to explain anything.

Mamatina:
How are you feeling now after the shot?

Leighanne:
Since we have an EPO, the doctor office and most of the facilities consider it as PPO, but we are not and as per insurance it is almost a HMO with few extra benefits than a HMO. I like my RE's office because they do all the stuff and all I get from my insurance is a letter saying authorized or not. I miss them already. Everyone there was friendly and good. I finally yelled at my insurance and spoke to a supervisor and find out that I am covered. So went for the test last Friday and waiting for the blood test. Honestly Aetna's Customer Service s u c k s. If you call them multiple times on a same question, you will get different answer each time. They never match. So we need to do some research on their site and understand the content and call until somebody who gives an answer that matches you understanding and call again to make sure you get the same from atleast an other rep as well. Horrible customer service and I wish there was an easy link where they get users feedback and actually act on it. I know the survey link is hidden somewhere.

It is so stupid of your cousin to do that. All the best for you guys. Calm down and dont stress yourself too much. Since they have drug issues, everything will be fine. Good to know that you are 20 weeks now. I am officially 12 weeks and we told my parents. Not yet to DH's. But soon we will be. My mom has been long waiting for this news, she was very happy.

mommyin:
Thanks for taking the tracker updates. We had a submission last friday and it was one crazy week. I am not too satisfied with the work I did. I am getting tired and sleepy, but no time for me to rest. Hope this will not affect the baby.

Every Thursday add one more week to my status and every monday add one to Leighanne. I am currently 12 and she is 20. After tomorrow she will be 21.

luvkayln:
No period and BFN. That s u c k s. Call the doc office and make sure what is going on.

Arlotheslug:
All the best for both of you. I will keep my fingers crossed for it. Let us know what did the birth mother decided.

Candie:
Hey...you got the dishwasher. That is a life saver. I could not imagine living without one.

Stacey:
Happy thanksgiving to you and all other Canadians in the forum. How did it go?

Jessie:
Mamtina might help you. I remember she talking about potty training on the forum.

icierain:
Usually it is given only for 5 days starting between CD3 and CD5. So u finish taking them at most by CD9. You are expected to O after 5 to 10 days of the medicine. So this will time the O between CD12 to CD14. I am not sure why your doc prescribed it for 10 days though. Because this will only delay your O and if you are not responding to 100mg they will only increase the dosage not the days. Check with them why they did it. There might be a reason.

naf:
Dont worry about the results. It is always good to know what the problem is so that we can address them. The worse one is being in the dark, because you dont know what is happening.

Keyan:
That is one scary result. Shows Oed when you have not.

joyce:
Good to know that you are already 6 weeks. Watch out for the morning sickness, I got it around 7-8 weeks. Also thanks for the link to the diaper supplies. It sounds cheaper, though I have no idea how much they cost. The book is really good. They sometimes have sometimes try to scare us. I just skip those sections, so that I dont get stressed. I picked up one for 50 cents from the library sale when we started ttc more that 2 years ago. Every time, I see the book I will think one day I will use this. Sometimes I felt that it was a bad luck to pick up the book before getting pregnant. But yeah..I am happy that I am using it finally

Leigh that is so great that everything is coming together.  How do you get through the first trimester and the first half of second trimester...until you feel movement, without obsessing.  lol   i am obsessing over every little twing in this pregnancy that i never really dealt with before.  i am wanting to feel movement so badly but that is still 10 or more weeks away, as i am only 6 weeks right now.  it seems like a eternity from now til the time that he/she/they start moving around.  i want to start buying things right away and i am bidding on a couple of really great auctions on ebay for some unisex clothes and breastfeeding/bottle system.  if i can win both of these i will be set for the first couple of months after baby gets here.  i did invest in the book "what to expect when your expecting" and am anxiously waiting for it to get here.

i am also looking into a service that send disposable diapers at the first of every month...a month supply at the beginning of every month.  you have to let them know what sizes you will need and it is a year supply for 500....and they also do it for twins (but you need verification that you have twins....not sure how but that is what it says. and the year supply for twins is double the regular supply for a extra 150....so for a single it is 500.00 and twins it is 650.00   here is the link    https://newdiaperclub.com/  just thought i would share that, as diapers are expensive and 500 a year is alot cheaper than buying a package at a time.  plus you can choose between pampers and huggies.

good luck to all and ssbd to those in need

sometimes this forum is very slow on the weekends, especially since it is a holiday weekend.  but come tuesday it will pick up.

well ladies , tomorrow i am 21 weeks along.  it feel like just yesterday i joined this forum with you all before going to my RE's office and so nervous about going there.  now it is getting to be so real.  i feel him moving all day long, we registered at burlington coat factory baby depot yesterday.   it is just all coming together.  and i honestly would not have made it this far because as sane as i am without all of your support.  i appreciate it more than words can express.

Hi all, nothing new to report for me. Just waiting until Tuesday when I start the next round of Clomid. I still have a couple questions?
1. Has anyone else ever taken Clomid for 10 days straight?
2. Has anyone ever taken a dose so close to the last one without AF in between?

MOmmyin09:  This is my 2nd cycle on Clomid.  I had an ultrasound before I started anything but havent had one since. I am going to see what my levels are this go round and if nothing has changed ask them if they can do some ultra sounds b4 and after.  No I havnt gotten a +opk yet.  Still waiting, i should be getting it this weekend. My temps are still low too. It would be really hard to get in to get the ultra sounds though.. especially since I dont want anyone at work knowing.

Candie:  I am going to my regular OBGYN right now.  This is the 2nd cycle of actually trying so if it doesnt happen in the next few months I will see about going to a specialist.  I am definitly ask when i get my blood work results from this coming up Friday.

Kenya:  He didnt have a problem with it before.  He constantly reminds me he has to go all the time. His daddy is getting really frustrated with him about it.  I really think he is just too involved with whatever he is playing with and doesnt want to put it down.  The next step would be to start taking things away from him.  I mean if I knew he had no control over it then I could understand it all but since I know he can hold it when we are in the car traveling, I know he can hold it long enough to make it to the bathroom at school since they dont stop them when they say they need to go.

Stacey - Happy Thanksgiving!

icierain - I hope the increase in clomid does help you!!

Candie - I agree, I do think that there could be many of us that think we do O, but in fact we don't. Sure will keep you informed about it. Hope you get that +opk soon!

mommyin09 - How did it go w/ the test?

Jessie - About your boy, is it possible that he's afraid(or dislike) of going potty?, maybe he's feeling secure the other way...just a thought!

Arlotheslug -  Sorry about the wait of another week to find out. I guess we just need to keep up the patience....but for sure it will happen!!!

naf38 - I agree w/ Candie, don't give up! and have further testing done. You never know what God's plan is for you.

Joyce: Sounds like everything is going well, thanks for the SSBD!

As of me, just about done w/ AF, it has been a crazy AF, I started spotting brown, then  normal bright red, then completly stoped for about a day then started brown and the red and then brown, hope is over soon!! sorry if TMI ;o)

Have a great weekend everyone!!!

Good morning and Happy Friday!  Yay!

Stacey - Glad you are feeling better.  Good luck with the Turkey this weekend.  I think we're planning to do the turkey for the first time this Thanksgiving, so I may need some advice. :)  Hope you have a wonderful holiday.  (oh, and thanks for the comments on my pics - you made me smile!)

icierain - So sorry your u/s didn't go as planned yesterday.  Hopefully increasing the clomid will help.

keyan - That's a little scary that all your tests can come back showing you O'd even if you really didn't.  It doesn't seem like most doctors even do post-O u/s so there could be a lot of people with this problem who don't know it.  Be sure to pass on the info as you find out more.

Leighanne - Wow, I can't believe you're halfway!  (I bet you can't either!)  That is wonderful news.  I'm so sorry about the situation your family in involved in right now.  I can't even imagine.  I hope the sweet baby stays safe.  How terrible.

mommyin09 - Hope your test went well today.  Thanks for checking on me, but guess what - I went into my "stash" in the bathroom this morning and I'm out of OPK's!  I only have HPT's and that won't work!  (Must be my blonde coming out in me! :)   Looks like I'll just be monitoring my temps this time.

luvkayln - How are you?  Have you talked to the doctor yet?

Jessie - I agree with mommyin09, you can have an u/s done mid-way through your cycle to see if the clomid is working and giving you good follies.  If you are just going to an OBGYN, they usually don't monitor you like RE's do (I know mine didn't, I had to do my own research and request the bloodwork/ultrasounds I wanted).  You could ask and see what they say.

Arlotheslug - Thanks for the nice comments on my pictures!  He's definitely spoiled.  Yes, the kitchen is going well, but we still have to do backsplash, floors (dining room too), and trim, so it will be a little while till it's all done.  We're then doing new floors in our bathrooms, so it's definitely a work in progress!  Sorry you have to wait another week. I'd be disappointed too, but hang in there.  It will happen!

naf - I'm so sorry you're so discouraged today, but don't give up yet!  You never know what God has in store for you.  Hopefully it will help to increase your meds, and it's probably a good idea to have further testing done.

Mommyin09:
I think that is probably why he is starting it so soon, since the pills he gave me last time to make me start didn't work he probably doesn't want to make me take them again if they didn't work anyway. I have another concern though, he wants me to take 100 mg for 10 days, everything I have read shows 5 days. Anyone else taken it for 10 days straight?

Jessie:  Is this your first cycle on clomid?  Usually your doctor does an u/s before starting clomid just to confirm you don't have any cysts, some do an u/s around cd14-16, just before you O, to see if/how many eggs you have.  The RE I'm seeing now also did an u/s after I O'd just to confirm that I did in fact O.  So, you may want to question your ob 'cause you should at least have an u/s before starting clomid each cycle.  Did you get a +opk yet?  Enjoy your weekend ;-)

Mamatina:  Good luck today !  I hope you come away from your appt with a feeling of hope once again !!! :-)  Let us know how it goes.

naf:  How'd your appt go?  Did you O?

luvkayln:  Any news?! :)

Stacey:  Happy Thanksgiving!  Have a great weekend :)

Candie:  How about you, did you get your +opk yet?

Arlotheslug:  Let us know when you hear something re: the birth mom.  You're right.  If it's meant to be, you will!  Best wishes !!! :-)

Keyan:  Have a great 3-day weekend !  I'm so looking forward to it ! :)

Leighanne:  BFP - 19 weeks
vortex: BFP - 11 weeks and next u/s is only on 12/2
Michelle & Joyce: BFP

Keyan:  CD5
Candie: CD11
Jessie:  CD14
MamaTina: CD14 - Doc appt today!
arlotheslug: CD23

naf38: CD26, test results 10/9
icierain1:  CD?

Hi everyone.

Jess:  I am sorry, I don't have any advice.  Good luck trying to get that to stop!

Stacey:  I am glad you are feeling better.  Happy Thanksgiving.  Last year - DH and I did our first Turkey.  We were really nervous, but it all turned out great!

Icieran:  I am sorry things were not as good as you hoped.  I will keep sending you karma.

Candie:  Congrats on the kitchen!! Yahoo!  (I am a bit jealous - we have been working on bathrooms for months now ;-)

Naf:  How are things going?

Kenyan:  Thank you!

Luvkayln:  Hello!  I hope this all gets figured out!  So confusing!

Mommyin09:  Wow you are so awesome in the TWW!  Sending karma!

Well, it looks like we have to wait another week to find out!  I think that really brought DH and I down last night - this whole process (trying to build a family anyway possible) is really trying to make me a patient sole!

I hope everyone has a good weekend!

candie:  No they havent done one and dont have any scheduled.  I did have one in January at my old OB to make sure there was nothing wrong with my overies.  This is only month two of actually trying so I am sure they are just seeing how Clomid does on its own.

If nothing is different and I still dont O I am going to see if they can do anything else and see what the other options are. Im not too worried at the moment, just taking one day at a time. OPK is still negative but tomorrow starts my estimated fertile days.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to get a 3.5 year old to quit peeing in his pants?  He was doing really good then he had continuous accidents for about 2 months and then was good again for a little over a month and now he is having accidents again.  I dont mean like maybe once a week, he has had one everyday this week at daycare and twice yesterday.  Its just getting really frustrating bc when he is with me, he always tells me he has to go even if we are just at home. I think I have tried everything: sticker charts, candy, toys, outings, icees, etc.  Nothing is working... the only thing left would be to punish him and you are not suppose to do that.  His 20month old sister is doing better than he is in not having accidents.

Sorry about that rant... I havent been able to get the whole situation off my mind, its starting to really stress me out.   I hope everyone has a good night!
