My RE told me it was ok to have sex, I asked after the 6 week ultrasound, I havent though, absolutely no desire whatsovever.. lol poor DH, he said if I had known this would happen things would have been different, he was joking of course.... I am soo scared, but from everything I have read, your babies are safe and snug and actually enjoy the rocking sensation caused by sex... so... with that being said... congrats on your BFP!!!! isnt it the greatest feeling in the world!!!!!

As for work, I wouldn't see why not, as long as you try and take it easy (no lifting, no strenuous activity)... Hmmm, work in a bar... you aren't a poll dancer are you?  All that jumping may not be good for baby... Maybe you should stick to chair routines... lol, JUST KIDDING!!!

Congrats to you again...make sure to ask your doc all these questions...trust me they heard them before quite a few times

Since you had a prior miscarriage I think you should abstain from sex and exercise till 12 weeks.  You should ask your doc just in case.
Congrats again!

My RE said no sex until after the first u/s (with heartbeats)... Honestly, DH was afraid to touch me, thought I would crack or something!... but we had issues, so it was extended until after the first trimester...

My Re says not to have intercourse for the first weeks, how long it depends from you how you feel. When you're pregnant you don't have the same fun when making love. Stay away from it for a while cause the uterus is very sensitive right now, many women even bled a little after sex.
