mommyin10 - Good luck at your appointment today! Thankfully DH's job won't affect his little guys when it comes time for the real thing. Sorry, I know, my doctor adventures have been confusing! I have a new OBGYN now (I sent the rude one packing! LOL) and he is wonderful. You're right, if I don't get the referral, I can at least try to see the endo specialist at some point. I'd like to get my bw/us results and see what those show first though. I'm hoping there will be something small we can do there that may make the difference! Maybe this cycle you could just keep counting my days (not dpo). I didn't temp or do OPK's this time. I may have O'd over the weekend based on my cm and ovualtion pain, but I'm not sure, just trying to take it easy this time.
luvkayln - I'm so sorry you've been so stressed with work and that it has spilled over into you interactions with Sean. As much as we all know we shouldn't let work, stress, etc. get in the way of our relationships, we all do it sometimes. Just hang in there and hopefully things will slow down for you soon. I'm sure once you get the chance to spend some time together, things will be better.
Keyan - Hope you have a good day back at work today and you aren't in too much pain. Thanks so much for your encouragement. You're right, it's hard somedays, but we just have to keep remembering that God is at work and won't let us down.
Jessie - Congratulations!! I've already commented on your pictures, but little Zachary is adorable! Glad you are both doing well. :)
Guesito - Hope you get things worked out and are able to switch doctors. I went through a lot with my OBGYN and I know how hard it is when you realize you can't trust the person who is supposed to be responsible for your care. Not a good feeling! Thankfully you found out now and can find someone better.
Stacey - Hope you got a lot of rest over the weekend and that you and Jake are doing good! How has Honey been? I can't wait to see how she reacts to her little brother. I know they'll be best friends! :)
rachjas - Wow, you've got quite a full schedule! Good luck with everything, and I'm sure it will all be worth it very soon! Is it true that your transfer is on your anniversary? How cool!
dnikki - Congrats on the beta! I'm so happy your numbers look so good. Glad you could find some new clothes. I'm sure it will be hard to hide your good news, not only because of your belly, but because you're so excited too!
looloo - Welcome! I'm so glad you decided to join us - the more the merrier! :) This is a great group of women and I know you'll find a lot of support here. I'm so sorry for your struggles, but it's good to hear that your PCOS is better. It sounds to me like your BBT could be a sign of something wonderful! Oh, how I hope so! :) Be sure to keep us posted. Just to introduce myself, my DH and I have been married for 5 years now, been TTC for 3, and we're now seeing a specialist to help figure out what's wrong since all of our tests up until now have been good. Very frustrating, but hopefully we'll all be blessed very soon.
jessie- congrats.
luvkayln- wow time is flying, you are going into your 2nd trimester.
stacey- if you have any c-section questions, feel free to ask. its all still fresh in my mind since it was onyl 17 weeks ago.
dnikki- congrats girl. the US will be so much fun.
Jessie: Congrats! Zachary Kaden is just adorable! Great pics & what a story! I guess he was ready to meet the world =) I'm glad that you & baby are doing well.
Luvkayln: I'm so sorry you've been working so much! I can imagine those long days on your feet are not easy. I'm glad you have today & Tuesday off, but maybe you could start taking it a little easier? Didn't you train someone to help out, or was that to take your place when you're on maternity? I can imagine it's stressful fighting with Sean too, but you guys will be fine ;) You just need some time off work & more time enjoying each other. Take care!
Guesito: How are you & dh doing? Hey, good luck with the tubal reversal! Do you already have it scheduled or are you figuring it all out through your insurance? I'm glad you're taking the time to find a better RE. You guys deserve much better! ;)
Keyan: Thanks! I will. Hopefully I'll get my meds calendar so I can plan ahead ;) Good luck with your first day back at work & take it easy.
Guesito: I am so sorry this people are making this time so hard on you...hope they respond soon.
Mommyin10: Good luck tomorrow. I hope all is painfree. take lots of notes!!
Looloo: Yes, all my negative beta turn out <2 ...all except for when I had a m/c...where the last beta I did for it to confirm the m/c the result was 3. I agree with Rachjas, maybe you can try using the chart here and that way we all can comment on it if you want.
Rachjas: Thanks! Dh is been great taking care of the house while I rest, he is just great..I am not really looking foward to going back to work tomorrow, but oh well that's life.....btw I know you had a lap done too, I wanted to ask you, is or was the area around the belly bottom inicison hard?, mine wasn't like this, I am scared that from all the vomiting I hurt something, my doc cked it yesterday, say it was normal and as long as it didn't hurt or hard pain, I was ok. Good luck tomorrow starting the meds!! You are on your way to BFP!!
Jessie: Congrats!!! I will go now ck your pics!!!
Luvkayln: I am so sorry work is giving you a hard time, I hope somehow you can work on a better schedule and get to spend quality time with Sean. Take care of yourself and your little one!!!
Hello everybody!! hope everyone is enjoying their weekend....We just got back for Dirt Bike riding and are exhausted..
Dnikki- Congrats.. Great Numbers.. Its a supers sticky one =)
AFM-Looking into a Tubal Reversal if that doesn't work then I guess we will jump back to IVF with a real RE..... We have found out horrible stories about our RE... They have the nastiest, Rudest staff!!! I have requested my records a week in a row and still don't have them. They are terrible!
Hey girls! Sorry I've been mia for a few days. I've just been working SO much lately... we've had so many weddings back to back at the winery, I feel like I've put in 80 hours this week! :( I'm off today and Tuesday, but we have another wedding tomorrow so that'll be another 10 hour day! I thought I'd be able to handle this job being pregnant, but i'm just no so sure now. It's getting to be too much, and i'm only in my 13th week! Plus, I feel like ALL me and Sean do lately is fight, and I absolutely hate it!! :( We never see each other anymore, and I'm just sad... sorry girls to be so down. Just emotional, I guess...
Mommyin10- Good luck at your appointment tomorrow! You're very right, this whole process is just moving right along for you! :)
Jessie- Congrats on your little one! He's so cute! :)
Sorry to make this so short, I'll try and check in later!
Hey everyone! I have alot to catch you up on!
Zachary Kaden arrived June 11, 2009 at 5:43am. He was 7 lbs 12 oz and 20.5 inches long.
I had my regular appointment on monday and I was measuring at at tight 3 so he told me to come back in a week. Well that night I cramped all night not being able to sleep at all. Then on Tuesday I was having a really hard time breathing. Well Wednesday, Dh made me go to the doctor. My OB was going to be gone for the rest of the week so I had to see some guy I never met. I was really dizzy and couldnt really talk clearly but he told me that I was barely dialated to a 1 and that I should just go back home and rest. Well by the time I got home I had the worst headache in the world and by 1 I had thrown up everything I had eaten all day. So I called the doctor back up and he tells me to go to the hospital to get an IV put in bc he thinks Im dehydrated. My mom takes me up there and as soon as we get off the elevator I felt like I was peeing on myself. I was so embarassed by the time I got to the nurses counter. They put me in a room and did a test to see if it was ambionic fluid, which it was. I was put on bed rest and they were going to induce me 6am on Thursday. We didnt make it that far. At like 2am I felt horrible and the nurse checked me and I was at a 6 so they called the guy to do the eperdural. By the time he got there I was an 8. I think I pushed 3 times and it was all over and done with. We were able to come home yesterday around noon. I went to the hospital to get an IV and came home with a bundle of joy!
I will try to put some pics up!
I just looked at your wedding pic. So, your ER is tentatively set for your anniversary?! How exciting for you two =)

looloo: Yes, my appt is tomorrow. Thanks! =) I'm excited to start my meds. This whole process seems to be flying by!
rachjas: Hey, if I'm anywhere close to your timeline, my ER should be right around the 4th of July! I can't believe how quickly time is flying. I hope the Follistim & Repronex treat you well. So, do you mix those two? I think I'll have to bring dh with me when I get to that point ;) Tomorrow I'm supposed to bring my Lupron. Do you have to take it at the same time each day? We're actually going in today to turn in our 9-page consent form. We have to initial each section & then sign it in their presence before starting Lupron. Well, good luck tomorrow! Let me know how the new meds go ;)
Keyan- I wish you the best when you go back to work Monday. Try to take it as easy as possible. You still don't want to over do it!
looloo- You should start using the tracker on this site! It can be really hel
pful to you ....and if you ever have a question we can just look at it and try to help you out! Hopefully, you have a BFP this time and you don't have to worry about it!
mommyin10- Yep! Lots of trips! 3 scheduled bw now and Thursday. I would say at least one more before Sunday. Then at least 3 next week (the last one being the ER!). Then the following week the ET. It's all worth it though. Yes, take lots of notes on the meds! DH & I are so lost about the follisitim and repronex. We were the only couple at the orien. meeting that hadn't completed injects. before. The nurse seemed to rush through it all. But, we have a appt. tmw with a nurse she is going to help us out. Thank goodness! The lupron has been real easy, no mixing and little needle! I do that myself. I plan to do the stims myself. DH will do the trigger (hcg) and PIO!
hey thanx for the offer. i'd like that..to be on the list i mean.
ur appt is 2mrw rt? all the best!
take care everyone
No, dh won't be going with me. It's okay, it's just a routine appt. I will have to take notes on my injections, though, 'cause he'll be giving them to me ;) Enjoy your weekend & I hope you're continuing to feel much better!
rachjas: How exciting! Your ER is so soon, I can't believe it!!! =) Will you go in quite a bit for bloodwork between now & then? That's good to hear that you're also doing ICSI. Do you know how many embies you'll transfer? Wow, just a little over a week away =) I'll update your stats tomorrow.
looloo: I'll add you to our list tomorrow if you'd like. I can't see your chart, so I'm not sure what to make of it. I tend to agree with Keyan on the number, but so long as AF hasn't shown, I think that's a good sign ;)
thanx everyone for the welcome! :) really appreciated.
dnikki: you really seemed to have beaten the odds. i can imagine how much you fought with it all. how inspiring!
glad to hear ur numbers r great. all the best for the u/s!
mommyin10: thanx for the kind words. and the tips. i'll definately look into fertility blend. all the best on ur IVF. really hope it works out!
rachjas thanx for the welcome
keyan: thanx :) and when you mentioned "mine usually are <2" did u mean always?
well, i'm 14dpo, AF hasn't visited and bbt hasn't dropped. and my BBT chart has gone mad. i mean, my charts usually always show a triphasic pattern. but this time, there seems to be ANOTHER fourth phase. (?!?!) the first rise was on 1 June, that corresponds to O. 2nd is on 7 June which usually happens. 3rd is 13 June and it's staying steady at that temp.
i know i'm grabing at straws... :) thanx again to all of u. and all the best!
Hey!! I just got back from my appt...I got my 4th Lupron shot...now just 2 more...YAY!!
Looloo: Welcome!!! about your beta test, I think anything below 5 is negative, but mine usually are: <2, but either way...it is not over until AF shows...hopefully she won't show. keep us updated.
Mommyin10: Monday is just one day away...will you go with dh? is good he won't be working on what ever cause him to have a low count, tell him to eat healthier and just take it easy this next few weeks!!
Dnikki: Great numbers.....Yes, that's probably what ds is trying to do, just testing to see what happens..good luck...does he knows about your pregnancy..when will you start telling the good news?
Candie: Yes, NO pain at all during the exam...that was good news!! I am sorry about your insurance problems, I know how much you want to work with this new doctor, but you still have options...remember my story, I wanted to have my lap done with my old obgyn, and he was the one, to my surprise and sadness, that referal me to this new GYN, and you know how great it has been, I am "in love" with my new doc, he is just so great and sweet with me, that I am actually happy I got to meet him...so just think, that if you do need to go to the endo specialist, it will work out, you will see, trust GOD, he is working in your favor!!
I hope you all have a great weekend...I go back to work on Monday, so I am trying to enjoy my last resting day.
dnikki- Awesome beta!
looloo- Welcome!
mrspace- Yea, for AF finally showing.
mommyin10- MONDAY is almost here! I am CD 3. I went in yesterday for my b/w and u/s since RE wasn't going to be in the office today. All is clear! I am set to start Follistim and Repronex Monday! We go Monday to the clinic for an appt. with the nurse. She is going to walk us through the mixing of the meds. once more. I have b/w Wed. at a local Quest. Then, Thursday I have b/w and u/s at RE's office. As of now, ER is 6.23! By the way, we just found out a couple of weeks ago we are doing ICSI also!

dnikki: Awesome numbers!!! =) How exciting & your u/s is not too far off! I'm so, so happy for you guys!
looloo: You are definitely welcome to join us! =) I've been on medhelp for almost 2 years & with most of these ladies for just about that length of time. They are the most supportive & wonderful women & will be able to give you strength to get through this ttc journey ;) Everyone has a different story & experiences, which means there's usually someone who has some input when you have questions ;)
That's great that your follicular scan now shows no signs of PCOS! It's exciting to know you've made progress ;) As far as DH, mine takes Fertility Blend every day, which you can purchase online at earlypregnancytests.com. That might help a bit? We're going through our first IVF & just found out this week that his count wasn't too good, so we'll add ICSI to the mix, which just means they'll actually insert his best swimmer into my egg to help with fertilization before transfer. Anyway, welcome & best wishes to you & dh!
Guesito: How are you doing? Have you looked into finding a new RE?
Luvkayln: Do you finally get some time off work?! I can't believe you've been working such long days...
Candie: You must be close to O... Good luck!
Looloo: Welcome!!! You are absolutely right about our support system here :-) I've been on this for 2 years now! All of the ladies are wonderful and we have also been through so much...I have PCOS and endo, hubby also has a low count. We've done soooo many cycles of clomid and one cycle of injects. I did a natural cycle this month as my left ovary was very enlarged form the injects, and we also did IUI. Well, I'm now p/g!!!! DH's count was low at 7 mill before washing and then somehow it went up? after washing to 15 million. But I don't care! We finally finally got p/g! Just keep thinking +ive thoughts, and sometimes it really just take only one swimmer and a bit of luck :-)
Well gals, RE's office called - 560!!!! I don't have to go in anymore for beta's - which I'm kida bummed about lol...but my U/S is on June 24 at 8a.m WOO-HOOOO!!!
hi everyone (wave)
i love the name of this post "women of strength"...strength is sumthing i cud use rt now..
but i see that all of you are very close and have been togther (virtually atleast) for a long time. i really hope you dont mind if i join (or nudge my way) in. seriously u can tell me, no hard feelings. you guys have come up in several of my googles. it's what brought me here and i joined less than 2 weeks ago.
actually i've been following these posts and i love the support system you've made for yourselves. and you're all really experienced.
about myself, i've been married 2 years. when i was a teenager, i had been diagnosed with PCOS. so we started ttc immediately.
meanwhile, i concentrated on getting rid of my PCOS, which, i'm proud to say, my last follicular scan showed NO characteristics of it. i now have regular 28 day cycle.
our present problem is hubby's low count which we didnt realize until 2 months ago. we always just assumed it was me.
i O'd on the 31st of May (based on follicular scan and BBT charts) i have a short luteal phase of 11 days so usualy my AF shows up on 12dpo. that was yesterday.
since O, ive been cramping like AF is comming. somedays it was quiet bad and today was terrible. we went into the lab for a beta and it came back negative at a 1.39
usually my beta always stays at 0.00 if negative. does this 1.39 mean anything do you think?
still cramping so that im sure AF is here but when i check, nuthing :(
all the best to all those preg and baby dust to all those ttc!
take care
Good Morning :-)
Guesito: Thanks! We are soooo happy, but we are still just trying to get through until the u/s...fx!!
I went in for my beta and there is a chance they won't be able ot run it today. She said if they weren't swamped then she would sneak it in for me. But if I don't hear from them by 11 today, then they didn't, but it would be run first thing in the morning. So I guess I will update when I find something out :-) Have a great weekend everyone!!!
Hugs, Love and SSBD to all :-)
Just wanted to wish everybody a great weekend!!!!
Dnikki-Congrats Great Numbers you must be soooo over the moon!!! =)
Hey all :-)
Mrspace: Glad AF finally showed for you!
Keyan: Good to hear you are feeling so much better :-) As for potty training, we think he's sort of "testing" us to see if we'll put him back in diapers... He's done really well today, so hopefully it will continue.
I went out today for about an hour and found some really cute tops! I didn't spend much either!! Came home, ate lunch and stuff, I fell asleep on the couch for a flipping hour and a half!!! I knew I was tired but geez!! DS is wanting to go back outside, so I'll check in later and tomorrow when I find out my beta :-)
Hugs, Love and SSBD to all :-)
Candie: So, if you go back to your regular ob, is that the one who was giving you a hard time getting the referral or a newer one? Wow, the lap is expensive. Hopefully if you do need it, you can get the referral to the specialist & go that route ;) Yes, dh needed to do a S/A prior to applying for the program. Luckily my doc's office submitted the app using his iui results! :) He thinks he knows why it wasn't good this time & it's related to his work environment (he works at an oil refinery & was down on the unit at "start up" the week of his s/a.) He won't be doing any of that between now & our retrieval, so we should be just fine :)
Mrspace: I'm glad luvkayln's cheer worked! I hope AF eases up on you a bit, but it's great that your body is getting back on track & how exciting that you're starting your clomid in a few days! Good luck :)
Keyan: Yay! I'm glad you're up & around and going back to work next week! That's wonderful :) I'm excited for you, too, that you'll be ttc very soon!!!
Luvkayln: Wow, you're gonna know whether you're having a boy or girl very soon!!! Of course it doesn't matter, but how exciting to find out & start thinking of names & all that fun stuff :) Thanks for your supportive comments! I was worried when my RE personally called me because I thought he was gonna call it off, but we still have hope & we're still very excited!!! I hope your long day is over & you're able to rest at home with the kids ;)
Dnikki: Did you find some tops? I'm sure it'll be a challenge to jeep it a secret, but it's also a smart idea ;) Have a great weekend, get some rest & update tomorrow with your beta results =)
Hannah: I hope you're feeling better & that you do get your referral ;) Take care!
candie- Thanks for the well wishes. I'm surprisingly happy about AF. I'm pretty positive it won't last long. Dr said that if it lasts more than 5 days to come back in. I will gladly take the side effects if it means that my body is ready to try again. I have a terrible headache, and I am super tired and achy, but I wouldn't change it. My body is regulating again and that's such happy news to me. I don't care. It's kind of like what several of the women here have said when they get p/g. The nausea and morning sickness is so worth it. So I am happy that AF is here. I'm looking forward to starting the clomid on Tuesday!
