first ivf cycle

To answer your question, when my period starts I'm to call and go in on second day for bloodwork and ultrasound
Don't worry yourself to much stress in not a good factor for you or your body. Have a great time for the holidays. What do you think of the PIO? My sister started on the PIO but she complained that it left knots in her rear that the RE put her on a vaginal insert. Best of luck on your Beta. Thank u for expaining the FET to me. Best of luck with your transfere stay positived. I am on day 4 of my lupron injections. I had an orginal date of 4/30 for ultrasound & bloodwork but my RE said to call when my period started, I also had an around about date of egg retrival for 5/11 but they said as long as my body responded well to the meds that it would be sooner. Keep me posted on how you are doing. You will be in my thoughts and prayers!! LOTS OF BABYDUST TO YOU!!!!!
Thanks for asking. I am hanging in there. I am now in the hair pulling, "oh my God what is that cramp?", two week wait. I am 6dp3dt (6 days post 3 day transfer). I don't have my blood test (beta) until 4/18. I am taking PIO (progesterone in oil), a baby aspirin and using Vivelle estrogen patches - all of which provide symptoms similar to both period and pregnancy. I do okay for most of the day but then I'll have a weird feeling and freak out. From the start of my protocol until now it has been 7 weeks. I'm about done. I've been an idiot and POAS a few times, different tests different results. Faint line could have been from leftover HCG in my system or evaporation line. My husband has removed all remaining tests from my possession since it is not helping. Thankfully we are down The Cape for the holiday this weekend and being away from my house will keep me better occupied. Hopefully the weather will hold and we can spend a lot of time on the beach with the dog. Anyway, thanks for asking and I hope you are doing well with the Lupron.
Sounds like you have your head in the right place as it pertains to research and what not. When do you go in for your baseline u/s?

ok i did my 1st IVF in feb2009, they retrive 25eggs,15 goodembroyos so my RE decide to do day 5 blastocyst,7 made it to blastocyst day 5,all were verygood grade so RE decide to transfer only one,unfortunately it didnt work,so as i said i had 7 day 5 embys so 6 they freez & only 1 transfereso we still have 6 frozen.if ur AF is regular & if u ovulate everymonth by ur own then they give u option for FET that u want to do with medicine or natural in natural u dont have to take any medicines or injections u just have to track ur ovulation at home with OPK,once u ovulate they do US to make sure egg is collapsed once egg is collapse they will give u trasfer date,mine is day 5 embys so once i my egg will colapse they will transfer on day 5.my OPK already showed positive yesterday,so i went for U/S today but egg didnt collapsed yet so RE said mostprobably it will happen tomorrow so i have to go for U/S tomorrow aslo then she will tell me transfer day,the day they will transfer they will give me medrol for 5 days ,thats a anticoagulent,thats all i will be having as medicine.then same i have to wait 2 weeks for beta test.hope i answered ur question.feel free to ask any thing .goodluck to u for ur 1st ivf.lots & lots of baby dust.so when u r going to start ur IVF???

gonal f, menupor, then hcg injection. Since we've actual been given the go ahead to finally start the process I feel more relaxed. I don't ivf research on-line because I know that will stress me out. You have to find the humor in the process or else you will take the whole process to serious. Sometimes people are so self absorbed that they don't realize how dumb they really sound, but atleast it was amusing for you! So enough about me how is your process going?

Yes the whole process seems like a lot of hurry up and wait. So you do Lupron for a couple of weeks or until you get your period? What is the rest of your protocol?
I wish I had some magic words of wisdom that would make the process easier, but sadly, nope. We have to drive by the Shriner's Burn Hospital on the way to my clinic so that helps keep things in perspective (for about ten minutes, I feel sorry for myself a lot.) I also try to find the humor in the situation. The other day I was waiting to be called in for an ultrasound and this woman was at the front desk SCREAMING at the receptionist. My clinic is in the city and caters to a pretty high-end crowd and this woman was in the expensive jeans with the $2000 purse the size of my car. She was screaming about how she never had to sign in before and it was ridiculous she had to write her name down on the piece of paper. Basically there is a sign in sheet where you put your first name, last initial, hospital id, phone number and if it is ok for them to leave you a message on that number. Clearly they use this sheet to a) check people in and b) to make sure they know where to reach you when your test results come in. I've been going to the clinic for three years. The sign-in sheet has been there the whole time. So anyway, here is this rich lady totally melting down. I had to chuckle then I told my doctor all about it so the receptionist would not get in trouble.

hi iam starting my 2nd IVF(FET Ntural without any medicine) this month,iam cd14 today,so i might ovulate today or tomorrow once OPK shows positive in six days they will transfer embys.

I'll be starting my lupron in a week or so. Nervous but excited to be moving forward! :-D
Thank you, it will be nice to have someone to talk to who has already been through the process. I am on my second day of lupron injections. Glad to be finally starting something after months of going back and forth to the drs. for test after test.
