heavy bleeding

Please give me encouragement.  I went through one cylce of IVF ($$$$$$) and I started bleeding monday night like a period.  Cramps do not feel the same as normal period.  Bleeding is clotted and red.  I am on progestron 3xs daily. Doctors were really certain that my body and embryos are perfect to carry a baby.  But I am so nervous that I passed that embryos and started my period!! Please can I have support and hear that I still could be prego! Maybe the bleeding is from loosing one embryo and the other is stuck in my really supper thick uterus!!!

Our insurance did not pay for any of this either.  So these last four our all we have left too.  No one told me before we started all of this how emothionally attached you will get to each procedure.  Because for those two weeks you are to believe you are pregnant! and well it is hard to get the disappointing news or start a period in my case.  It is like I need a visiable proof of when I lost the embryos! They just washed away! or Flushed away =(  This is making it hard on my husband because I havent been talking to him much this week.  It is not an easy thing to go through!

Okay I had my blood test this morning! and of corse I forgot my cell phone.  So my husband will be home today to get the call.  I am so nervous! If this month did not work then I will have to try again next month on July's period.  I do not think they can use this period (June's) because its too close.... (?).   Today will be a long day!

I talked with the doctors office yesterday they told me to just continue the progrestron and then come in Thrusday for the pregnacy test.  I am just scared that all the money and medicine I put in my body and the embryos did not take.  We have four frozen, so two more chances. It is so not fair that people who do everything right do not suceed! The reason we are doing IVF is because my husband has CF, I am not the one with the fertility issues.  So we knew right away that IVF was the only way to have children.    What are the Betas? I am not good with all the lingo!

Don't think the worst (although we all tend to do that).  I have a friend of mine that is currently going through the exact same thing.  She got a positive pregnancy test 3 weeks ago.  Betas were fine - but she then started to bleed.  They did an internal and found that she had a huge clot that was bleeding.  They removed the clot and her pregnancy is still in tact.  Call your doctor ASAP!

And yes, it could be that you may have had multiples and one dropped off.

There are a number of reasons why you are bleeding.
