low blood sugar
hello ladies i wanted to know does too much progesterone causes low blood sugar becaue monday i went to my family doctor for extreme fatigue and exhaustion that had for 4 days straight. i couldn't take it anymore. even though i was diagnosis a few years ago as a boderline diabetic and blood sugar always get tested every 3months. i got it tested in early march and it was 6.8 wasn't too bad but monday i was sooo exhausted and i remeber the last time i was so exhausted my thyroids were active com to find out when the nurse checked my blood sugar it registered on the meter as low then i was taken again it registered at 3 the had to immediately put me in a room and give me a shot to bring it back up. the dr. asked what medication i was taken besides the fluid pills i was prescribed i told him i was taken b6 vitamin and progesterone on day 16 which i had started i was told if it wasn't for me taking the b6 vitamin i could have had convulsions and slipped into a diabetic coma. he asked what did i eat i told him i ate breakfast and lunch and that it should of been high because the day before i hate bbq and a lot of other starches and was doing research about and found out that high amounts of progesterone can cause low blood sugar. is this some fact to this please help

I can tell you I have been taking Progestron since day 17 its now day 26 I have been so tired all the time. I mean really tired. I don;t even feel like myself ,I read the progestrone will cause that?

I looked all over and can only find that yes, progesterone does cause tiredness. It also says that low blood sugar can cause low progesterone. Usually, due to lack of appetite when sugar is low, it causes progesterone to lower. I didn't find anything to the opposite.
