Hi girlies so im 24 and have never been pregnant. I got the mirena because im very forgetful and the pill made me gain weight. My last period was 36 days long. Is that normal?
Very normal. The Mirena can mess your cycles around for a while (just like any new birth control). SOme women find they bleed constantly while on that type of birth control. Doctors usually recommend waiting 6 months to see if it settles - but bleeding pretty much every day for 6 months can't be good for you.
If it doesn't settle soon, I would see your doctor about switching.
