When I got pregnant with my son, I had gone off birth control pills in April. During May I had two "periods". The first was at the beginning of the month and was "normal". The other was towards the end of the month and was "not normal" but I didn't think anything of it at the time. I just figured that it was my body trying to get back into sync post synthetic hormones (ie BC Pills). When I didn't get my period in June, my doctor told me that the "second period" was most likely implantation bleeding as typically women won't have a "normal period" once they're pregnant, but that bleeding during early pregnancy is fairly common. The difference between a period and early pregnancy bleeding is that when you have your period, your uterus is shedding the layers and unfertilized egg. Early pregnancy bleeding is more hormonal and due to the stretching of the uterus (or something to that effect). Good luck to you!
My cousin had bleeding for the first 3 months and a positive pregnancy test. Her doctor put her on Progesterone hormone supplement and it all stopped. She has a beautiful little girl and for her second the Doctor put her on Progesterone after ever O to help with implantation. Good luck.
It is possible. I had my af for the first 3 months of my 1st pregnancy. It was pretty normal but on the 3rd month after af was gone a few days I started spotting brown(old blood). I went for a pregnancy test and low and behold it was positive. By the time I had my first Dr.'s appointment I was half way through my pregnancy!
Yes, I agree....I had implantation bleeding and it was only spotting and very light which was a one time thing. Good luck:-)
Implantation bleeding is usually very light pink and is more like spotting than bleeding. Other people may have had it in other forms but it's usually pink and in very small amounts.
