stopped using nuvaring ttc

I've been on nuvaring for seven years. Recently my husband and I have decided to ttc. I took my nuvaring out when I was supposed to, had my normal period that I'm supposed to.  I was wondering how long it would take for the hormones to get completely out of my system? We were thinking of trying by the end of the summer.

Aw thanks, it's okay that you didn't. :-)
Now that you mention it, yes, I remember my nipples being extremely sensitive for the first....90 days or so maybe. My sex drive was also ramped up, but thay could have been cuz of the sensitive nipples I suppose.
Thanks for the good wishes. Back at ya!

Did your breast hurt after you stopped using it? Mine have been sore and my nipples have been really sensitive since I took it out.

That's about how long I was on it too.  I took mine out around June of last year and conceived in September, so it doesn't take long.  That's the bonus of nuvaring, it's supposed to have little to no side effects when you take it out.  I ended up miscarrying that conception at about 6 weeks, and haven't had luck yet since then, but at least I know I am indeed ovulating since I got pregnant once!
Good luck, and be prepared for a possibly quick conception--
