Some women do not want to test before their beta and others do. If you already took one hpt and it was negative I think you should retest every couple of days until your beta. This way you will prepare yourself (at least a little) for results. I've read some stories about ladies being tested negative one day before their beta and then blood work came out positive. I think these are very rare situations. I hope you will be the lucky one. I was not...I took five hpt all negative and of course I am not pregnant. At the beginning of next year I will start my fourth attempt to get pregnant this time it will be a frozen cycle (my first one). I wish the best of luck for you, me and other ladies.

Is it now 11 days post transfer or post extraction?  I know this wait is really nerve wrecking but you just have to have faith to get through it.  Try to hold off on testing till at least 11 days post transfer.  When do you go for your blood test?

I think 6 days is way too early as well. I have my blood test in the morning, and took 2 HPT yesterday, which was 11dpt. Both were negative. 1 was even a digital. So, now of course I am freaking out thinking that its impossible to get a postive in the morning.

6 days post transfer is too early to take a pregnancy test.  If you can wait, and I know it is hard, don't take anymore.  I just had my third failed IVF cycle and broke down and took tests everytime.  I wish I would have never done that b/c it just ruined the week up to the blood test.  I hope everything works out for you.  Keep your chin up and try and stay positive, I think that is important. :)  Keep us posted on the outcome.
