trying to get pregnant

Hi...I am 24 and my husband and I havebeen trying to conceive for almost a year now. I had an ultrasound and bloodwork done recently, and my gyn says everything looks good but my progesterone is low and he says it's because I am too thin. I lost about 10 pounds over the summer (I was 110 and now 100) due to more activity and actually I have not menstruated since August. I have been receiving acupunture, trying to put on weight by not exercising as much and eating more (I am up to 103). My question is....the last few days my nipples have been awfully tender, I have had a slight ache in my lower right side and my basal temps have been pretty high (for me) the last few days, like 97.9 to 98.0. Do you think I might actually be ovulating finally? Any remote chance I may even be pregnant? (Fingers crossed!)  :)

I have really good news, I actually got my period a few days ago! And it is like a normal period, not superlight like the periods I had gotten in the last months leading up to the last one in August. Normal flow, color and everything. I was estatic! I have started to do my charting again. I am guessing my period came back because I have gained some of my weight back....usually I am about 110#, I was down to 99 in the summer and now I am back up to about 104. I know that I probably need to gain a bit more yet. Plus I was running almost 1 hour everyday and now I am just walking.
So at least I am making some progress, slowly but surely! Hopefully I can get pregnant in the next few months now.

Have you tried using the ovulation predictor kits? They will help you determine if you are ovulating or not. Did the doctor tell you why af has been absent since August?
Are you generally regular regarding af?

I haven'treally been keeping a chart these last few months because I just too disgusted with the up and down, up and down and anovulatory pattern. But I have been taking it lately and it was higher than normal for a few days (I am not sureabout this morning because I didn't take it). My nipples are still a little tender and breasts fuller, but I have put on a few pounds so maybe that is why I think they seem larger. (It's funny, any little change I get excited about and think, oh am I ovulating!? Could I be pregnant!? It's so weird). But thanks for whatever help/advice yo can give me!! I tryuly appreciate it!

It's hard to say if you're ovulating right now without looking at your chart. If you are feeling pains around your ovaries, that could be a very good sign that you may getting close to ovulation. Do you chart on fertility friend? I would love to help if you have a chart I could look at. Also, if your temps have been up the last few days, that's a good sign that you may have ovulated a few days ago.
