Hang in there, I know it must be frustrating but I think in the end it will all be rewarding. Just keep asking doctors and trying to get to the bottom of the problem. I am glad to hear you responded well to the drugs and its not dh that is the problem either. Did the doctors have any advice, or anything to contribute that may be causing the problem? If not I would get another opinion. Sometimes a fresh perspective helps. Good luck:)
Definitely starting to think of new routes, but still discouraged, why isn't is working if we are responding so well each time and they are fertilized blastocysts? Also, do you know how to ask your question to a med expert?
Hi thanks, I' ve always responded extremely well to the drugs, the first IVF cycle my husband was really sick (factor or not??) and the boys didn't swim so well (only 5 viable and 2 at the time of implantation). He is able to father children and this wasn't an issue in the 2nd cycle in fact the doctor keeps saying everything is perfect, let's just cross our fingers but obviously like I said we can fertilize, just doesn't attach I guess
I too have been diagnosed with unexplained infertility -- every test that me and my husband had done were awesome. We both have a child from a previous relationship (so we know we both can have/create kids). We miscarried 3 years ago and then this March (so we know we can get pregnant) just have to figure out why it takes so long and why it is not sticking.
I was on 5 months of clomid with one IUI all unsuccessful and then I did one round of follistim inj, ovidrel shot, and IUI which failed as well.
Now we are trying au naturale this was my second cycle meds free so we are keeping our fingers crossed as I am about 5 dpo.
how about embryo adoption
that way you will know if that batch tends to be successful
I was crushed when i read your post. i am so sorry you have gone thru all of that. I am in the same boat as well. 3 failed IUI's and just about to start my first IVF, which now I am terrified to do especially after reading your post. My husband and I were also diagnosed "unexplained" hmmm.... if you figure anything out let me know. Also why were the results poor? did you respond poor to the meds? What were you on etc.
