10 Days past iui just need to talk about it

I am 10 days past iui (day 14) using follistimaq and hcg trigger (on day 11). I also used .5cc of hcg on day 7 after my iui. Has anyone else heard of this? I have been reading many posts on here and can't seem to find a single person who has done this?. I have had many symptoms early on but have all seemed to subside. I am unable to take hpt till Dec, 20th due to the hcg shot again on the 10th! AHHHHHH  I have the 2ww!!!

Did they do bloodwork prior to having you take the second HCG?  I  have not heard of doing another HCG...but then again I have only done one IUI so far...doing another one this weekend, most likely.  I could be 100% wrong, but perhaps the hcg was to help with your lining and progesterone...something along the lines of making your body think it is pregnant and forcing your body to do what it is supposed to do....just a guess.
TWW is soooooo hard!  My last IUI did not even give me the decency of allowing me to have a TWW....AF showed up four days early!!

Tircia448 had the second hcg trigger shot 7 days after IUI also.  Doing first trigger on cd11 and not doing IUI until cd14 seems like a long wait to me tho.  Mine were always 36 hours apart and I've seen many others have 36 and 24 hours between shot and IUI.  Did dr say why he/she waited so long??

Today I'm 5 DP IUI.  This was my first IUI.  Normally I do a trigger shot to O, but this month my follicles did not mature until late in the cycle and I Oed on my own.  Got a +OPK on Sat and went in for IUI on Sunday.  RE said that timing is good, my only concern is did I really O.  Because I didn't feel the usual cramping.  On Monday I'll go for a progesterone test.  After IUI I was instructed to start Projesterone suppositories.  But I did hear that people on this forum had a second HCG shot.

Hi - I just wanted to let you know that I received a 'booster shot' of HCG, a wk after my IUI and my cousin ALWAYS got a booster shot....the theory is that it can help make it "stick" :) LOL ...

Just went through my 1st IUI yday so now it is a waiting game to find out the outcome. What do you think my chance are if i had 1 large folicle and 4 small?
husband has got a high sperm count
