Abdominal Pain 1 Week After IUI

Hi,
I had my first IUI just over a week ago (natural cycle) and last night I started experiencing sharp pains in the lower right side of my abdomen, the side I had ovulated from. I had a little bit of cramping a day or so after insemination but that went away and I haven't had any pain or cramping until now. I don't know if I should be asking my doctor about this or if I should just wait out the next 5 days until I go in for my pregnancy test?
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Erin

I was on Clomid last October and I've had my first IUI last Nov. 4 but unfortunately had my mensturual period on November 18. Also, it has been 18 days past the IUI process but I still experience cramps and pains on my left lower abdomen.

What could be causing it?

I would wait to test because it can be just cramping when embryo is implanting...
