Anyone who has protein s deficiency (PSD)

Hi ladies im new to this forum. Im 33 and been ttc for about a year. I have had 4 miscarriages so when to have some tests done. I found out i have PSD. the dr said that would probably be the reason why i miscarried. I was told when i get a bfp to start to take baby aspirin then at 6 weeks i have to have a scan to see heart beat then i have to have clexane injections daily. I wanted to know if there is anyone who has PSD and have gone to term and had a healthy baby. Im so scared as i got a bfp a couple of days ago and im soooo scared its gonna happen again. Do the injection hurt? Please help if you can. x

Hi bny807, Thanks for your reply. Im sure i'll be fine taking the injections myself. At the end of the day i'll do anything to have a healthy baby, although i will make a big fuss but iam allowed. At the mo im 4 weeks pregnant and hoping i'll get to 6 weeks so i can make a fuss about the injections. I'll keep you posted. x

Hello! i just wanted to reply, though i dont' have protein S def.. however i was just diagnosed on my 4th mc with MTHFR.. so i'm now on LOTS Of folic acid and b vitamins, and an asprin (for the rest of my life) and also will be on heparin for the next go around...when i was diagnosed i looked all over the internet for success stories and saw SO many with Protein S as well as MTHFR, once diagnosed and treated with blood thinners people had successful noncomplicated pregnancies.. of course i know with myself i'll now be going to a high risk OBgyn if we are blessed enough to get pregnant again and it stick!  GOOD LUCK to you! keep me updated.. they are Subcutaenous injections, so i hear you bruise quite a bit and they can be painful, but not as bad as PIO (progesterone intramuscular injections). And hey if its the answer we can do it right? : )   GOOD LUCK!
