2. Is this bad of me...My last 2 IUI my dr has me giving myself the trigger shot about 9PM the night b4 my IUI BUT once you give yourself the trigger shot O can occur 24-36 hours later (which I figured out that I would maybe O late that night or the next morning). Would it be wrong of me to give myself the trigger shot between 12 - 3 in the afternoon the day before my IUI (my IUI would be next morning 9am)?
I was thinking this would make me O sometime around my IUI.
Twice I have had u/s 32-33 hours after shot and I had not ovulated yet but was just about to. Both times I had IUI 36 hours after shot and got bfp.. I actually thought ovulation was supposed to occur 24 to 48 hours later.
From my experience, I say time it for as close to 36 hours as you can. I don't know if you dr told you differently for a specific reason, but that is what has worked for me.. Good luck to you..
