CYCLE LENGTH and Clomid???

I have been taking clomid for a few years now, I am now up to 200mg.  I do not get AF unless I take prometrium, my cycle length was 55 days last time and now I am on Day 5 of the new one, I wonder what the pattern is if I will 'O' between day 14 thru 19 or is it possible I wont 'O' until much later????

I never know when I 'O' either, because the stick test just never work, I also get my blood work done on day 21 of my cycle each month and my levels are always low indication no ovulation.

Do some woman just not ovulate from clomid?  I assume thats why im up to 200mg now.

Some women react differently to different drugs.  They start you on Clomid because it's easier to take (pill form).  If it doesn't work for you, they might switch you to injections of a different drug.  I know some people have amazing reactions to Clomid and others don't see any change.

I didnt get my af when i was on 50 mg clomid, reason been very simple I didnt ovulate..if you ovulate you get your af after 14-16 days...so I think you are not ovulating...

There are some other brands used for ovulation induction, check with your doc..some girls dont respond to clomid...

Also if possible do a mid cycle ultrasound scan to see the follicular growth..That will give you an idea when you will ovulate and when to bd..

Another simple technique is the BBT...your temperatures also signal your ovulation time

PS: i too have PCOS, so do not worry there are hundreds like us even at medhelp...

Thanks.  It's nice to see other woman out there with similar problems.  I will keep trying, im up to 200mg now and I had a HSG test on Wednesday (tubes are open thank God) so they say nows the time to keep trying...im just hoping for ovulation cause in the past I dont believe I ever ovulated.
