Hi
I have just started using the clearClear by design Clear eyes Clear eyes acr Clear eyes clr Clear-atadine Clear-atadine children's blue monitor and I am currently on my firstFirst progesterone mc10 First progesterone mc5 First-progesterone vgs 100 First-progesterone vgs 200 First-progesterone vgs 25 First-progesterone vgs 400 First-progesterone vgs 50 First-testosterone First-testosterone mc cycle of using it.
Now when I started to use this item I did realise that there was a possibility that it may not be sutiable for me.
My af has been irregular and my cycle length can range between 26 days and 44 days.
I am aware that the monitor is only suitable fro cycles of up to 42 days.
Anyway I am currently on cd 24 and the monitor has been showing high fertility since cd 15 and I am now getting bored of it and frustrated, it becomes very tiresome doing the deed on just high days all of the time without getting a peak day, I am so eager to see that peak day and I feel that I should do no more bd until at least the peak shows if it ever does.
I have now used 19 sticks and I can only test for one more day tomorrow I don,t expect to see a peak do you think this means I am in for another 40 plus cycle.
Another question as well is is it possible for this monitor to miss the lhLh blood test Lh urine test (home test) surge, I mean if I tested early in the morning could the surge come in the afternoon/evening and be gone by the time I do the next test the following morning or does it stay in the body for some time.
I have bought a load of opk's to continue using after tomorrow as obviously I won,t be able to do any more tests with the monitor this cycle.
I plan to use the opk's twiceTwice-a-day a day until I get my surge or failing that my af.
Another question as well is why did the monitor go to a high reading on cd 15 if I have still had no peak how long after estrogenHormone replacement therapy rises would the lhLh blood test Lh urine test (home test) surge generally occur.
I am getting quite desperate at the moment as I am 38 and I have been ttc for 17 months and I still don,t know what my body is or isn,t doing.
The 1st time I used the monitor...it worked so beautifully...text book. I got 'high" on CD 12, then peak on CD17 & 18.
The next time I used it...I reached "high" on CD12 again, so I was happy...thinking it was going to automatically go to peak CD17...no go...never reached peak. I was also on meds & think it might've affected it.
This month..."high" came CD13 & Peak...CD15 & 16.
The best thing to do is try it again next cycle to see if you do get a peak.
I've met a few women who've gotten pregnant while the monitor showed "high" only. So...be encouraged. SSBD to ya. ;o)
I have the same monitor. Before seeing my RE, my cycles were out of wack also. I used the monitor for three cycles... I didn't get a peak my first cycle. Next, two I did peak readings. I think it ..has to get to know you? Like, what your cycle tend to be. I haven't used it in 2 cycles (I had lap. surgey last and this cycle we decided to just use OPKs since I am not taking any fertility meds).
It is very possible to miss your LH surge! I am living proof! I am 24 weeks with a little girl who was conceived while my monitor read low! I was seeing a RE who had me do back up OPK's and thank goodness my smiley caught my surge in the Eve. but the next am my monitor still did not read it, it did go to high, but my RE had confirmed ovulation with U/S so it can happen! I only got a peak readin once everny three months or so, and I have normal 28 day cycles, I just have a very short surge!
wow kiki I suppose anything is possible though.
I just think that for such an expensive piece of equipment it should get it right.
Maybe they need to alter it so that you test twice a day with it.
I suppose I will carry on using the monitor anyway to see what happens but I am going to back it up with the opk's as well.
Same with me like kikicoates78 i test in the morning like 11:30am nothing but at night around 5pm i will get a positive. So test twice so you want miss your surge.
Lots of BD to you.
I am using the monitor for the first time and am 99% sure it missed my LH surge. The LH line on the test stick got darker and darker to day 12 and then got lighter, but it never got darker than the estrogen line. I think i had a short sure either after testing day 11 or day 12, but the surge was gone before the 24 hours was up and I tested again. I had all of the signs of ovulation (cm, sex drive, ovulation pain) late on day 12. I have a regular 27-28 day cycle, have never had a longer cycle, and I have 3 children, one miscarriage and one chemical pregnancy, so I know I can get pregnant.
