Clomid Confusion

Hi,  I am really confused, hoping someone can help.

I have been told I am mildly polycystic.  I have irregaular periods.  Before being put on Clomid, I hadnt had a period in 8 months.

After my first course of Clomid, I had a progesterone test on day 21, which showed that I had ovulated.  Sure enough, I had a peiod on day 30.

I took my second course of clomid on the first day of my peiod, as I was instructed.  However, today is day 50 and no period.  I have no pregnancy symptoms.  I took three home pregnancy tests, on day 31, day 42 and day 49 all negative.

Whats going on and what do I do?

The odds are you didn't ovualte this month on the clomid so you won't get a period. And this does happen on clomid. I would talk to your doctor though about starting you clomid on day 3 or 5 instead of CD1. You will have better results.

Also, if you're on the lowest dose, maybe your doctor would consider giving you a higher dose. Some women won't ovulate on the low dose. Good luck!

I was so optmistic after the first course...by the time I get the next appointment, I will have missed two courses already.

I'm not really sure but I had a cycle of 64 days on clomid once I don't know the reason
