Clomid and Ovualtion

My ?  is.....Does clomid usually regulate your periods? My periods have been irregular since in my teens. I am on my 2nd round of clomid and had to take provera to induce my period both times. Now, I am on day 29 of my 2nd cycle and AF came today w/out the help if Provera. So, does that mean clomid helped or did Ovualtion occur in order to have my period on my own? Please Help, I am in desperate need of advice. THANKS:)

I took my first round of clomid this cycle and my dr said that with taking clomid you should get AF within 28 - 34 days...so I think that it does help. Hope that was helpful.. Good Luck!

I am on my first month of Clomid. I have been researching online for 30 days straight.  I have tender breasts, bloated, late ov, and a late period. I read these are Clomid side effects. I am on progesterone now to bring on my period b/c I am on day 36 now of my cycle which is usually 28 days. I feel so bloated and it is very confusing and uncomfortable on this drug.  I had my first child on Clomid 9 years ago... and it took me 3 cycles before I got regular and pregnant. My periods back then were very irregular on the drug, too.  I am using the OPK kits this time and it's been a big help.  I would recommend taking your BBT and using OPK kits. You and I sound the same... it won't be easy for us but we can look for the signs early.  Good luck

Clomid regulated my cycles the 3 months I was on it.  With it I had a 32 day cycle.  Without it my cycles range anywhere from 22 days to 56 days.  :-/
