I know it is probably possible...but has it happened, are there cases, is it commonCommon cold or crazy to even try?
I realize my doctor recommended waiting 3 months until my HCG levels reach zero for good reason, but in my head I will think up any reason to think that my husband and I can try tomorrow, 6 weeks and 1 day from my Sept. 17, 2009 surgery and be fine.
I'm going to list my thoughts and someone tell me if I am crazy or if you or someone you know well conceived that soon after an ectopic pregnancy, without the tube being removed.
Why I "think" I would be okay and it would be safe to try:
* I'm young, 25, and have healed quickly.
* My surgery was 6 weeks ago
* I had my post ectopic period exactly one month after my surgery date
* I have been taking vitamins...
* I really really want this...
Okay the last two reasons were bad but give me your thoughts, answers, success stories...
Hi there, I'm 27 and I had an ectopic pregnancy in May and had the laparoscopy done at the end of May. the doc also had me wait 3 moths (which we did) and now I'm 6 weeks pregnant after IVF. We decided to follow his advise because it;s for ur own safety and ur babies. U see ur uterus is still healing from the surgery (D&C I'm sure ur doc did that since they have to remove the lining of ur uterus to get it back to normal) so it's to weak to hold a pregnancy, Secondly ur are risking to get an infection that could harm ur uterus and tubes even more, and thirdly if ur HCG is not at zero u most likely will not get pregnant...so be patient and do things right, U are already halfway there, It's better to be safe than sorry...good luck to you.
