Confused- PCOS and clomid

I have a quick question.Is it possible to ovulate and not get your period and not be pregnant also?????? I was on 50 mg. clomid and the doctor did ultrasounds and my follicles weren't growing so he said that the medicine didn't work but then he did blood work and my progesterone levels were high so he said that I did ovulate. NOw I am in the waiting period and hate it. I'm on CD 37. I haven't gotten my AF but I also took a hpt and it was negative on CD 35. I don't have any symtpoms of being pregnant either. What is going on? I hate this. I have bloodwork on Friday but can't wait. AARRGGGHHH
