Cycle Buddies 2009 - the saga continues

Cycle Buddies 2009 - the saga continues

by Heather5, Mar 12, 2009 10:46AM
Hi girls! Hope you're all doing well! It's been a little while since last time I posted, and before I give you guys my update, I wanted to thank everyone for their kind words in posts, messages and notes I have recieved! I really appreciate all the support! It's been a crazy couple of weeks. As many of you know, we've had family in town for the past 16 days, and then my husband was laid off in the middle of their visit, which forced us to make a decision whether or not to continue with the IVF. We have decided to go ahead with it, since insurance wouldn't have covered it anyway...and my DH has a temporary contracting job at the moment, so hopefully everything will work out.

I've also had to "sneak" out and get a whole bunch of tests done, since we haven't told our family we're planning on doing IVF, so that was an added stress. But I'm now finally done with everything, and our visitors have left, so I'm officially back!!!! I started lupron 20 units two days ago, and had my trial transfer and water sono that same day. I also got my protocol, and I will be on 3 repronex vials and 1 menopur vial a day once I start the stims. I'm a bit nervous about the whole thing, but also excited. I just REALLY hope it works!

OK! Looks like I have a lot of catching up to do....I'll post again later once I've read through the posts on the old thread. Also, if everyone could please give me their current cycle days and info, I'll start a new list.

SSBD!

Howdy Heather,
Glad things are moving along for you and u can proceed with IVF.  It was determined that I did not ovulate this past cycle so I am on something like cd36. Unsure when AF will arrive. I am in limbo..

Oh man, you're kidding! I sure hope AF hurries up and gets here then, so you can start a new cycle! And hopefully that will be your last TTC cycle for another nine months or so ;-) Will you be continuing on clomid?

Hey heather - glad to hear things are moving along!

I am CD 19 - and just had a positive OPK.  We aren't doing IUI's, just clomid with intercourse.  I was recently able to stay home with my daughter due to my husbands work change, but it doesn't allow us to do any fertility treatments =(

So - anyways...I should O today or tomorrow!

by Quinns momma, Mar 12, 2009 04:40PM
Heather,
Yes I am going to remain on Clomid but a higher dose, 150mg. Cd 3-7.

by mama1981, Mar 12, 2009 05:05PM
Welcome back Heather!  It has indeed been a frantic couple of weeks for you.  Glad to hear you decided to continue with the ivf treatment.  All that you have gone thru, it will pay off in GOD's name...

I am officially CD13 today.  I think i O'd early this month (around CD11-CD12) but who knows...Still on the natural cycle.  Hoping I become preggers before ivf treatments in summer/fall.

Glad to have you back my dear, WE'VE MISSED YOU a great deal :-)

xo,
marline

Thank you so much, girls! You guys are the best!

Kramik: Man, that stinks about AF showing up four days late. Just enough time to get your hopes up. Arrgh! Why does she always have show up when she's not welcome? SSBD to you in your new cycle. Hopefully AF will stay away for another nine months after this visit!

Kelly: Thank you so much, I hope so too! How are you doing?

Hannah: Hyperstimulation does happen in some cycle, but it's usually only mild to moderate. The severe cases are very uncommon...especially since the doctors are montoring the follicle development and estrogen levels very closely and can adjust medication accordingly.

Texasangel: Best of luck over the next few days!!! I hope everything works out this month, so you can enjoy being pregnant AND staying home ;-)

Quinns momma: That sounds like a good plan! Hopefully 150 mg will do the trick for you!

Marline/mama1981: You're so sweet! Thank you so much! I hope things work out for you VERY soon too! SSBD!!!

OK, let's see if we can get a new list going...

---------

Quinns momma: CD36, waiting for AF
Kellym: CD21
Texasangel: CD19, clomid cycle, positive OPK today!
Mama1981: CD13 (probably O'd on CD11 or 12)
Kramik: CD2

Heather: On lupron, waiting to start IVF cycle
Hannah: waiting to start IVF cycle

Hey, I am 4 days late too [CD32 and 17dpiui] and no AF! Did you take a HPT before AF arrived?
I have been testing everyday and been getting a very very faint line. The line neither darkens nor lightens. I just KNOW it hasnt worked out this month , but where is this stupid AF :( without that you cannot even move ahead with plans!
I'm worried sick.

by shellbell75, Mar 12, 2009 09:24PM
Heather: we missed you sooooooooo much i think the board was bored without you, I am glad things are working out, praying for you that this will be it and you will get your big fat BFP! you deserve it sooo  much!

As for me I had 3 mature follies and one maybe was got mature by the time I did IUI, very nervous I can feel butterflies in my stomach as I approach the final days....I am 12DPO and I am a 16 day LP so I should expect AF Monday decided not to test because I am too scared of seeing BFN! I will wait it out I have a good feeling AF will show her ugly face!

Kramik: I am so sorry about AF, damm it I was hoping and praying you get that BFP! good luck for next cycle.

Mama1981: sending you some extra SSBD your way!

Welcome back Heather.  I agree it just wasn't the same without you :)  Good luck with your IVF this cycle....Hope you get your BFP!

Shellbell75 - Hopefully AF doesn't show her ugly face and you get your BFP!!  SSBD!

As for my I am cycle day 7 and have been on 75 of gonal f (double from last month).  I will be doing IUI for the second time.  I go in tomorrow for U/S and hopefully everything is progressing well.  I hope I have more than one follie this cycle so I have a better chance of one sticking.

I have high hopes that this will be a great month full of BFP's!!!!

OMG...I am so excited and happy to hear that you're ok girl! You are the tie that binds!!! I am thrilled about your upcoming IVF. I know you will be delighted with results and can't wait to celebrate with you....but most of all, glad you're safe!!!!  If you read the previous posts, I had my very own BFP this month, but miscarried two weeks into the pregnancy...5 days after finding out. We were very sad, but are starting a new cycle now. Today is c/d 4. I start Clomid tomorrow and will take for five days....cycle days 5-9. Things were different this month cause of heavy flow. I have appt on Wednesday with Re for ultrasound and E2...I am looking forward to this month's IUI and hoping the sticky vibes help stick this month. Heather....had a rough couple of days...cause no matter how you look at it...it's a loss. Hopeful and I both went thru the same at about the same time...weird. Anyway.....time to look into the future and keep positive....So happy that you're back...can't stress it enough!!!! xoxo

As for me, something weird is happening as I am CD14 today and I think I feel my normal ovulation pains I get every month.  But had similar pains on Monday/Tuesday of this week as well.  Well anyway, just means more BDing for DH and I to try and capture that egg (eggs)...Trying without the stress is soo much more fun.  I am happy I am in a much better place.  Hoping for BFP before IVF.

I have something weird happening to me!  I'm not suppose to test til CD 30 per my Dr. and that's not til Monday.  I just got home from work and I always start feeling AF pains before she arrives and today not so much but when I got home, I went peepee....  I wiped and there was old blood.  Lots!  I mean, when I wiped, it was thick looking.  I kept wiping til I think I got all of it...  Yuck - TMI, sorry.  I thought it was all gone then I wiped more and noticed a clear eggwhite discharge.  Where and why does old blood come from?  I know that's a silly question but I've never heard anyone talk much about it before...  Any replies welcomed...   SBBD.

by shellbell75, Mar 13, 2009 08:15PM
Jessime: maybe its implantation?? I am not sure never had anything like that! gook luch though!

Ok, so everyone's wondering how the cruise went???  It was awesome!  I loved getting away from absolutely everything.  DH and I BD so much!  It was almost like it wasn't scheduled.  We went to a private island once the ship arrived at port.  We took a speed boat 20 mins to Passion Island.  If y'all every get the chance to go there, do.  We met two nice couples while cruising.  I've kept in contact with one of them.  This cruise was a little bit more rocky than the first.  But this would definitely not keep me from going again.  We had a blast!  We ate in the main seating everynight so the 5 course meals were great.  I missed you all so much.  Glad that I'm able to get back on here and read everyone's post.  Sorry for all the ladies with the unexpected AF.  Keeping fingers crossed that this is your month!!!  As for me, I will test on Monday - CD30.  Yesterday I had the brown stuff, today nothing at all...  Talk to you ladies real soon.  Take care...

Welcome back Heather!! You definately were missed... I'm so happy you're able to go ahead with the IVF... crossing all of my fingers and toes for you!!!

I'm CD4, using estradiol patches through day 8, ganirelix days 2-5, and then starting day 6 taking 112mg of gonal-f... then gonna be doing IUI again...
has anyone here taken ganirelix? I find that it burns and itches like mad for about an hour after... the injection itself is not painful if it is done slowly enough but after it gets really bad... so i'm open to suggestions how to make that better...

good luck everyone!!!!!!!

Hi Everyone...Thanks for the post on the other board...had no idea everyone moved!  Well, we actually did it!  We did the transfer of 2 Grade 1 embryos on Saturday.  I've been "princess for the weekend" as my DH has affectionately named me!  Not feeling any different (not that I should)...

Has anyone been through IVF Day 3 transfer with a BFP in th past?  If so, I'd love to hear about it!

Thanks!  Baby Dust to all!

Hi girls!

Well, I'm now on day 6 of lupron. I have my baseline sono on Wednesday, whether I've started my period or not, and then I'll start the FSH meds next weekend. Can't wait to get this show on the road. I kinda freaked out a bit yesterday, though, because I totally forgot to take my lupron at 7 and didn't remember until 10:30! I really hope that won't mess anything up.

Jessime: Sounds like you two had a great time on the cruise!!! Best of luck testing tomorrow!

Wannahaveababy: Thank you so much! I got fingers and toes crossed for you, too! I've never used ganirelix, so unfortunately, I don't have any insight on how to prevent the burn, but at least you only have one more day on it ;-)

Baby4Shellbie: Glad you found the new post! And how exciting about your transfer!!! I know Helen72 had a 3-day transfer and got a BFP! Sending you lots and lots of baby dust! Hopefully one or two of the embies are getting nice and snug in there as we speak!

Hope everyone is having a good weekend!

SSBD!

Mommyoftwo: I will check out the news pics! Glad you some some fun :-) over the weekend.

UPDATE: Went to RE yesterday day 2 to start a new cycle, unfortunately I will not be doing any meds this cycle because I've got two big cyst one on each side, a 35mm and a 23mm cyst! what a bummer! Oh well I guess I will just try naturally! my insurance does not cover IVF, but and the RE's office I go to they have a NY State program that once you live in NY state you can apply to see if they will help with IVF, sending in my application this week, just have to get up my W2 for last year. If qualifiy you can get up to 2 IVF's covered.

How do we get cyst? Does this means I did not ovulate my follicles and they just turn into cyst?

Thanks for the wishes...trying not to think about this NON STOP, but it's hard.  I know what you mean about the drugs!!  My bill was $4000!  Plus the 10k for the IVF, but it won't matter at all if we get BFPs!!  :-)

I made a huge mistake with my lupron when I first started taking it, I was doing it at night (and never the same time...didn't know it had to be in the am AND around the same time!!), but my nurse swtiched me about 10 days in and all was fine...

I took one more day off of work to make sure I relaxed one more day before heading back into the fire of work.  I work with children diagnosed with Autism, so there either you are there or you aren't...no halfway!  So gearing up to head in tomorrow...trying not to stress and feeling EVERY little twinge I have!!

Heather - Yes paying the bill for the meds does indeed make it real!!!  Glad to hear you are in good spirits about the whole ordeal.  You need to be in high spirits going into this :-).  I am praying all works out for you each step of the way thru the BFP!!!

Baby4Shelbie - Glad to hear all went well on saturday with the transfer.  Yes, indulge in and enjoy being "Princess" you deserve it!!!

Ingy77 - I am soo excited to hear about those beautiful embies.  I am praying all goes well for you on Wednesday during the ET...

Jessime -  Glad to hear all went well on the cruise.  I can imagine that you both had a wonderful time.
I am going on a cruise as well with DH for my bday next month.  I can't wait.

Shellbell75 - I know what a bummer not being able to go right into this cycle may be.  But trying naturally is nice too when you know you can't do a med stim'd cycle anyway.  It all works out.  Hopefully you get that BFP and won't need another 'cycle'.  All things arw possible :-)

texasangel343- Thank goodness you o'd.  Trying to keeo track of when that happens can really take a toll.  No sad faces, think positive and go from there.  We are all here for you my dear...

ALL-I have been really moddy lately.  SOmetimes I wonder how my dh puts up with me but in my defense, I have not been moody since my last iui with injectibles cycle back in dec, so I guess it's not that bad.  I am CD17 today and just taking things one day at a time.  We are activiely working on saving for the ivf.  We have had to be very disciplined and get what we NEED and not WANT all the time.  Sometimes hard but seems to be working.  Will do anything to save up for my little bundle of joy...
Hang in there ladies!  ssbd to you all
xo,
Keeping you in my prayers

Hey Girls,
I haven't posted in awhile after my ectopic in May 08. I had to have a couple of surgeries and now I am back and getting started again. I seemed to respond ok to clomid so I am doing the again days 3-7 and my RE added follistim 75cc days 5-10 then another ultrasound. I am now CD 7 and not sure when the trigger shot and IUI come. Has anyone had any experience with this combo?

Thanks and Best Of Luck to All!!!!!!!

Hi everyone!

Hope you're all doing well. I'm just sitting here, waiting for my meds to be delivered. They should be here sometime this a.m. :-)

Lisa: So good to hear from you! I'm glad to hear you're back TTC! Sending you lots of SSBD for this cycle!

Baby4Shellbie: I'm not sure, but I would think a heating pad on your bum would be OK. Maybe you could double check with your RE...just in case. That's interesting about you taking the lupron in the morning, because I was told to take it at night between 6 and 10. Once I start the FSH injection, I'll be mixing everything into one shot, so I only have to take one (a mix of one menopur, three repronex and lupron). It will be one potent cocktail!!! LOL! Hope you're having a good day at work today! ;-)

Shellbell: So sorry to hear about the cysts. I had one after my first injectable cycle and had to sit out that month, too. And it was big! I think it was 41 mm! But it disappeared on its own by the next baseline sonogram. I think you're right in that they are most probably leftover follicles. Probably two that were not mature at the time of trigger. I still think you ovulated the mature ones. Best of luck with your natural cycle this month!

bfromthed: Glad you found the new post! But I must have missed something...what surgery?

Marline/mama1981: Thank you! I hope everything works out for you too and that you get your BFP very soon. Maybe in about 2 weeks or so ;-) Fingers crossed!!!

SSBD to everyone!

Sorry I missed your post before updating the list. I'll definitely add your info next time. As for the combo you're on, I did femara (similar to clomid) and menopur (similar to follistim) last month, and it worked great. I took the last menopur shot on day nine and was ready to trigger at my appointment on CD10.

Best of luck to you! I hope the clomid/injectable cycle works for you and that you get to celebrate a BFP in early April!

Well guess what. I saw the doc on sat. Turns out that faint line on the pee-stick means positive (Heather you were so right! ).. SO, its a BFP!! (F=Faint..heehee) For some reason, I am not being asked to take a blood test. Doc said we should just wait 2 weeks and do an u/s. I have the u/s appointment on 3/31. Until then I just cross my fingers and toes and wait! I took another HPT today (which is CD 35 and 22dpiui) and the line has gotten a little darker!
I have been asked to avoid stress, strain and travel for the next few weeks, cos last time, I miscarried somewhere between 6-8wks. Hope the HCG levels are ok. Another thing that bothers me is that  I dont "feel" pregnant at all. No symptoms! Should I be worrying or is this normal?

I'm really praying it all works out fine....for all of us.

Heather: You are such a darling for responding to every person on this thread and maintaining the log. You make us all feel like one nice family!

All,  I tested this am with a digital and it was BFN.  Still no sign of AF.  I just don't understand?!!!  Why would I spot Friday and Sunday?  The nothing?????  Dr said she would put me on 100 mg clomid the next cycle.  I'm going to see if she will send me for another HSG before taking anymore fertility drugs...

Hi everyone!  So I am Cd 12 and I had an ultrasound today to check on follicles and I have quite a few.  The problem is that they are all around 10.  My Re checked my estradiol level and it was 95.  He wants me to continue with a lower dose of gonal f (37.5) and come back in on Friday for another u/s.  Is this normal??  I am so confused because last month around this time we had one ready at about 17 and went in for the IUI a couple of days later.  I just feel like things are being delayed and what if there isn't any dominant follicles when i go back on Friday???  Does anyone know what the estradiol level should be??  Thanks!  SSBD to everyone!

Jennifer: estradiol needs to be at or above 200. Mine was a 96 on first IUI. We stimulated cause the follicles were mature and nothing happened. Waiting is a good idea.

Mona: Congrats! I am very happy for you. Keeping you in my prayers and sending you some extra sticky vibes....rest up and let that emby keep on growing! And you got that right...Thanks to Heather5, we got a nice little family on this site...a very colorful one I must add!! lol

Heather: I hope you're getting a nice buzz from that juicy cocktail, so that you can score a touchdown for all of us! Hey...someone's gotta get drunk every once ina while!! lol

ALL:  I have appt with RE tomorrow at 8:15am. we are doing ultrasound to check size of follies and estradiol level. I am somewhat excited and looking forward to iui on Friday or Saturday.

Thanks for the insight!!  That is so weird about doing a "cocktail" of drugs, I had 3 separate injections...Lupron in the am, Menpur and Follstim at night (both separate...)...it would have saved me lots of bruising if I could have done it that way!!

Looking forward to hearing how things are going!  SSBD!

Hi Heather.

I haven't posted....haven't been on the site for a long time. After seeing where you are at, I couldn't help but update you (and anyone else going through IVF) with where I am at. I started my IVF short protocol on 2/7. My RE reccommended I not discuss my treatrment / protocol with anyone. He suggested I turn everything over to him and not worry about the unknowns (crazy hard to do but I tried ergo why I stayed off the blogs). I had also been seeing an accupuncturist weekly which I do feel helped me relax. On 2/17 I went in for retrieval.Of the 4 eggs only 2 fertilized. I wasn't too hapy about this....I even suggested to my RE that I go through another cycle as to obtain more eggs improving the number of embryos to be implanted. He suggested I go through with the transfer. On 2/20 I had a 3 day transfer. 1 7 cell embryo was graded A- and the other was a 4 cell graded C. The procedure was a bit nervewracking as my RE had a difficult time with the catheter and had to use a second catheter. After the transfer I was sent home for 3 days of bed rest. I honestly didn't feel so hopeful.

7 days post transfer I got a negative hpt. I was also feeling mentrual cramps. I was so depressed I drank 3 glasses of wine and cried for a couple of hours. The following day I was looking at IVF bloggers and saw someone who had written that she got a negative hpt about the same time I did and the following day she fished out her pee stick and saw a faint second line. Well I couldn't find my stick and I still felt like I was getting AF.....I actually had slight bleeding that morning. The following day, 8dp3dt, I rallied my nerves and took another HPT.....there was a faint second line. Not to make a long story even longer, I had my 6 week ultrasound today. I have a healthy singleton. Saw the heartbeat.....my labs have been great....all is good.

I know the roller coaster you and others are on. IVF with it's exorbitant costs is the mother of all fertility treatments and can be the mother of all let downs when it comes to fertility. One of the nurses at the surgery center said that most people are successful with IVF. The stats that are posted are skewed to enable an MD/ facility to protect themselves for the small percentile that don't get pregnant. I hope that makes sense.

Good luck. I will look for your posts letting everyone know you are preggers.

Natty: You left me smiling after reading your amazing story. I am sending you all the positive thoughts in the world and please keep us posted on your very own little miracle...sticky, sticky, sticky vibes to you! Your experience serves to give us hope on this forum! Thanks for posting it...

Jennifer: Yes...I think he's right. Better for you to go back in on Friday and have a second ultrasound and redo estradiol. Your follicles need to be 17 and above and the estrogen is slightly low. They want it above 200, per single mature follie. Good luck. Post your numbers and let us know how it went! He is pumping you with injectables to mature those follies...;)

Melandyb:  You also hang in there with the clomid and the follistim. Hope you celebrate a BFP in a few weeks...;)

ALL:  I had my appointment with RE today. I have three Follies...19, 15, and 13. My Estradiol was 300. We are doing the trigger shot tomorrow night and IUI is on Saturday. Gotta be at Re's office at 7:30am...yes, my dear friends the butt crack of dawn!!
Hope I don't sleep thru ovulation.....LOL

Quinns: Hang in there. I am only on 25 mg of Clomid and I feel like it kicks my a$$$ everytime! I feel compassion for you....but hang in there. It will all be worthwhile in the end when you get to hold your very own...;)

Well ladies, I had my 11 week ultrasound this week, and we had no heartbeat.  The baby measured 8 weeks 4 days which was a day after our last ultrasound.  We don't understand what happened, and we are hoping to get some more answers and closure.  We are heartbroken, and will be having a D&C tomorrow.  It's been hard for the both of us, but we are looking forward to our next cycle in about a month or two, so it looks like we are back.

nattivity:  Congratulations!  I am praying that you DO have a healthy FULL 9 months and healthy baby.

As for everyone else:  GOOD LUCK and sending you all the SSBD in the truckloads.

Oh yes I have done Clomid before. Was on it for 3 cycles when I got pregnant with my daughter. At that time 100mg worked for me.  TTC #2 now and did not O on 100mg so I have been moved up in dose.

You are all right. It will be worth it in the end. :)

Ok I went to RE today CD9 and had us/bw. I won't know the results of the bw until this afternoon but as far as my follies I have 2 dominant on left 1@ 14.71 and 1@ 13.18 and alot of 9's. On the right I have 3 dominant 1@ 14.52  1@ 12.59 and 1@ 11.81 the kicker is my right tube blocked so I am hoping the left side wins the race. Just wondering what ya'll thought? I will let ya'll know on the bw. Hoping everyone has a great day;-}

I am so sorry to hear about your loss... I had the same thing happen to me the first time I got pregnant. The baby stopped developing at a little over 8 weeks and there was no heartbeat. I also had to have a D&C. I know there's not much we can say or do to help you feel any better right now, but just know that you're not alone, and that we'll always be here for you if you need us.

Big HUGS!

Jessime: I'm sorry to hear of the BFN, but maybe it was just too early, since you just had the spotting a few days ago. Still got my fingers crossed for you!

Mona: Yay!!! I am so happy for you! Congratulations! The symptoms vary so much from person to person, even from pregnancy to pregnancy, so I wouldn't worry about that. Here's to a healthy, happy nine months!!!

Jennifer: I'm sure you'll see a big difference in the follicles by tomorrow. Best of luck and let us know how it goes!

BabyMamas: Oooh, very exciting! Looks like you'll have at least two and possibly three mature follicles by the time you have the IUI then! Best of luck on Saturday!!!

Baby4Shellbie: I lied. LOL! It's not repronex, but bravelle that I will be taking together with menopur, and I guess they are designed so they can be mixed together. The less shots the better, so I'm happy! How are you doing? Any interesting signs or symptoms yet?

Nattydivine: So good to hear from you! And congratulations on your BFP!!!! That's such great news and I am so happy for you! Thank you so much for sharing. Your story is a true inspiration to us all! I'm still on lupron, and will continue for another week, since my estrogen was too high yesterday (they're suspecting I have a cyst). So hopefully I'll be ready to start stimming next week. Congratulations again...it couldn't have happened to a more deserving person!

Melandyb: Those a great measurements! And if you're doing a trigger, it doesn't matter which side has the most dominant follicle. With the trigger, all mature follicles will be released, whether they're on the left or right. So it looks like you have at least two follicles in the running on your right side!

Mandy: Best of luck this cycle! Crossing my fingers that April will be your BFP month!!!

Ingy: I hope everything went well yesterday! Keep us posted when you have a chance!

OK, girls, so here's the update on me. I went for my "baseline" yesterday, even though I haven't started my period yet, and although the sonogram was normal, my estrogen levels were still high at 139. The nurse who called me back said I probably have a functional cyst. So the plan now is to continue lupron 20 IU for another week and then have another estrogen draw next wednesday. I'm about 16 dpo today and still no AF (although I have had 16 day luteal phases in the past). Does anyone know if lupron would delay my cycle?

Still no AF here. 17 dpo and just waiting for her arrival. Hopefully AF will help bring down my estrogen levels and resolve any cysts (funny thing, though, is that they didn't say anything about cysts when doing the ultrasound). I took a FRER this morning...just in case...even though we didn't have intercourse at all around ovulation (since I'm not on b/c pills). So I don't think there's any chance of that. And the test came out negative, which is good, because the lupron would cause a miscarriage anyway. So just waiting...

bfromthed: Holy moly! I'm so sorry about your foot! That must be sooo painful. Good luck with the surgery!

BabyMamas: SSBD to you for your IUI tomorrow ;-) Oh and thanks for the info on lupron and AF!

Melandyb: Hmmm! I guess that does sound a bit high, considering your follicles weren't quite mature yet. But instead of running the same sample twice, wouldn't it make more sense to do a new draw? Did the nurse or doctor get back to you yesterday about what your next step would be? I'll be crossing my fingers that everything will work out and you get your BFP this month!

Beth: Glad to see you found our new thread, and again, I'm so sorry about all the stress you're going through. You and your family are in my thoughts. Hopefully things will resolve themselves very soon!

Baby4Shellbie: Wow! Up to 10 days, huh? That's crazy! Thanks for sharing. It helps a lot knowing that others have gone through the same thing. Gad to hear the bloating has come back down. Hopefully the twinges you felt the other day means one or two little beans are getting nice and comfortable in there :-)

All: Please say a prayer for our family that we can get through until we hear from my brother. As most of you all know he is in the Navy and is stationed in Groton. He was on the USS Hartford last night when the two vessels collided. They are saying that a few were injured but not life threatening. He is the nuclear engineer on the ship and the second highest in command so we are hoping to hear from him soon.

As for me alone. I started clomid today.

Thanks ladies
SSBD

I do go back to the RE Sunday morning and hopefully they don't cancel the IUI. Hope AF comes for you soon so you can get started with your BFP.

Almost posted to the old... but realized we had moved.
I have not posted in a while, but I thought I would put an update out here.  We got a BFN again.
DH and I have decided to take a couple of months off.  I will still take Metformin, and he will still take GNC's fertility blend for men, but we are not going to do any other meds or procedures.
We will be going to a conference that goes into details on IVF and what it entails... and then probably going that route in June, July, or August.
Good luck to all of you... it has been great being part of a group with similiar issues and experiences.  Really helps to know I am not alone with this.
I will check in from time to time.
Sending A TON OF BABY DUST to ALL of you!!!  Good Luck!

Mandy: How scary! I hope your brother is OK. You and your family will definitely be in my thoughts...

Melandyb: Got my fingers crossed that everything looks good on Sunday!!! SSBD!

cb_hoping: Oh man, I'm so sorry about the BFN. That really stinks! I can totally understand wanting to take a little break from everything...and who knows, maybe the break will be just what you need to relax and get your very own BFP!  Sending you lots and lots of baby dust!

:-)

Heather5- I also had a cyst, my RE said if it was still there by the time of ER they would just aspirate it...that was just my experience...

Mommaoftwo- your family is in my thoughts and prayers!

cb_hoping- sorry to hear about your BFN...have fun trying the good 'ol natural way!

Update- again, not much during the 2ww....this is really tough!!  Today at work, I went to the restroom, and I'm ALWAYS looking after I wipe and today I saw the slightest tinge pink, nothing more, just a little (and by little I mean barely noticable)...nothing since...it was really weird...not sure what it means...and been feeling "crampy" today,...not "cramps", just general...I'm probably just reading into every little thing!!

Hope everyone has a good weekend!  Tons of Baby Dust!!!

Bay4Shellbie: Oooh, those both sounds like they could be good signs! I felt crampy both times I got pregnant in the past, and the tiny pink spot could be implantation!!! SSBD!

As for me, I just got AF, and she's more annoying than usual. But I'm glad she's here ;-)

Best of luck to you:-} I was wanting to ask you what you thought them problem might be with my estrogen and do you think they would cancel the IUI because of it? Thanks for all your kind words you always have for all of us.

Yesterday I had my D&C done.  I think it's more of closure now since we've been mourning all week.  My hubby and I are going to plant a baby tree to represent our lost little angel, now that the baby is in a better place. Now my hopes are high again.  I still have a spot in my heart for the angel we lost, but we still have 9 embies left :~)  My hubby and I are wanting to try a couple of rounds of chlomid just to see if it works.  If not we will be doing our FET sometime in the summer.

Bfromthed/Everyone:  What vitamins or herbs did your husband take to increase the sperm count?  My hubby is wanting to begin taking it, but we don't know which one would be best.  Any suggestions????

I want to thank everyone on here for you support, pregnant or not yet, it means a whole bunch.  Sending all the love and sticky babydust to everyone.

Mwhitcomb:  Try the fertility GNC blend for males. If you're going to take Clomid, you cannot really use the one for females Mary...I just had my 4th IUI today...Clomid cycle at 25 mg. I am thinking about you and wishing you a speedy recovery, so that you can surprise us all soon....

ALL: I just got back from Re. Had my 4th IUI, clomid cycle at 25 mg. I had three follicles...they measured 13, 15, and 19 on Wednesday when we did the US. Estradiol was 300. Endometrium was a 9. We had a 8 million sperm count, so I am very excited and hopeful. I am only wishing that I can produce and sustain a healthy pregnancy...as I wish for all of you...including you Mary. May our next BFP end in a beautiful child that we can cherish and hold in our arms ..... SSBD and sticky vibes to all!!
