Update:  I had my 2nd u/s yesterday and his/her little heart was beating strong!  As a result, I got the ok to stop the progesterone shots.  Yaahooo!!  I'll be using the suppositories now, but I'm totally fine with that.

Thanks you guys for your support.  You all continue to be in my prayers.

I am out the running. My AF started this A.M.  I am excited and happy for all those who have gotten their BPF!!!! it is truly a blessing. For those who are continuing to try God be with you and blessing be to you.

Stay blessed and stay positive. My heart, love, prayers, and support goes out to you.

Poeticnicky--I'm sorry to hear about AF, I was rooting for you in silence. You have a wonderful attitude. Keep the faith.

ALL:  I test tomorrow, I decided not to post this IUI, To stressful reading others experiences and comparing to myself. BUT now it's down to a matter of hours and I'm stressed out. I saw blood Friday night on the insert stick for progesterone. I had a small amount of blood yesterday it was brownish, same today. AF is actually due today. I know the routine, it's her. I will still go to the blood test tomorrow because it's routine with my RE. I'm expecting a full flow by the A.M.

Congrats to all who received BFP.
BFN's keep on trying. Don't ever give up such a beautiful dream.

Im now CD 10, Im doing a natural cycle this month. No meds =). Its kinds nice not being poked, scanned and probed. Hopefully ill be blessed without the meds...wouldnt that be soooooo nice!

Those who are ttc, I pray for us all to continue to be positive through this journey in one day getting our BFP!

by A_Muse4u, Jul 20, 2009 01:41PM
vijsonia:  You're sO funny!  Yes!!  WE do tend to get ALL WORKED UP!!!  ;)

Silapooh:  Thank God for answering our prayers.  O:-)

Wendy:  That's awesome news!!  We're all happy for you & yours.

poeticnicky/DEVISTATED:  What can I say that I haven't said yet?!  Prayers and more prayers are in order for those in the same boat we are in.  O:...(

I know, it's tough!!!  If it's in God's will for us to receive our miracles, we will.  Meanwhile, I'd like to thank God for blessing us with each other here on this forum.  You all have made me strong since the 1st time we tried DET/IVF.  It's a hard road for us all.

God bless those who are pregnant and ttc always and forever, Amen.

It's a BFN for me ladies. Re told me to stop the prog supp. How many days does it take for a/f to come after stopping it?

I am so devastated. It's my 3rd failed IUI.  I've been crying the whole day. I am so tired, really ,really  tired.

by chrisdaniel, Jul 20, 2009 09:17PM

O.K. ladies, help me out, I told you I couldn't wait to take the HPT's, this morning I took a dollar tree one and came back negative, then tonight I took the E.P.T. one that shows
5 days before the period ( digital) and it came back **** PREGNANT****, I am only 8 days past iui, 9 past trigger shot! Does that negative in the AM mean that the trigger shot was out of my system, and if so can I really get a positive this early????
Please help, I am not going to be able to sleep tonight!
some of you may have read this already from the other forum! Sorry

bfromthed:  usually when you do the trigger it takes 36 hours for ovulation.  The reason I say this is because when I did the ivf retrieval they had me trigger then 36 hours later they retrieved my eggs so that would be considered ovulating.  So if we went by that, it would be 1 and 1/2 days after trigger you would ovulate.  Anyone else with any suggestions.  Just to let you know those are great follicle sizes too.  :)  Praying for your BFP this time around.

Chrisdaniel:  I would probably test again a couple of days later just to make sure.  Sometimes the trigger shot remains in the system for a while, but it just depends on your body too.  I really do hope and pray that it's really a BFP for you !!!!

angel/poetic/muse:  I am so sorry for you.  Hopefully this upcoming time you will get your BFP.  I will keep you in my prayers.  Sending out some positive vibes and SSBD for this time around.

devastated:  What were your test results?  I hope its a BFP for you.  Keep us updated, okay?

ALL:  Today is considered my 3 DPT of a 3 day embryo.  No symptoms yet except for a backache.  I am praying everyday for for my embies to continue to grow and stick, and become healthy babies.  The 2ww is the worst for me.  I have been trying to keep busy, but seem to always be thinking of this.  I guess that's only natural after wanting to be a mom for such a long time.  I pray that God grants us all our hearts desires.  SSBD by the truckloads amd POSITIVE VIBES!!!!

by Heather5, Jul 20, 2009 11:09PM
Holy Moly! Lots of new messages since last I was on! I'm going to have to sit down and read through all of them before I update the list!

mwhitcomb: Sending you all the baby dust in the world...so you can get your well-deserved "super sticky" BFP in another week or so!!! Come on little one! You better get nice and comfortable in there...it'll be your home for the next nine months!

Chrisdaniel: I agree...wait a couple of days and test again. The trigger could technically stay in your system for 10 days, and it's hard to compare different brands of pregnancy tests, since they all have different sensitivities. Best of luck! I hope it's a real BFP!!!

:-)

Well, I am finally on a cycle.  I don't know how the doctor miscalculated my FET for August when his nurse told me that it was too soon and that it should be in September.  If you ask me, I think she forgot to put me on the schedule and is covering her tracks.  I emailed my doctor to ask him how he could have made such a grave mistake like that and I am waiting for him to respond.

For those of you that have done a FET...will someone please give me some sort of schedule.  What I am particularly interested in is how long did they keep you on b/c.  In my case, I will be on b/c for 2 months.  I think that is way too long of a time to be on b/c but what do I know...this is my first FET in 20 years........

Congratulations to all the BFP and to those awaiting their results and going through the 2ww...think positive and lots of baby dust to all.

For those of you with BFN......continue the fight....the battle is almost over...we will succeed....

Thanks heather .How are you doing heather .

by Heather5, Jul 21, 2009 11:17AM
I'm doing well...thanks for asking. I had some scary cramping last week that came on certain intervals, so that was a little scary...but thankfully they went away again. I've been instructed to drink a lot of water, stay out of the heat and take it easy to try and avoid it happening again. Other than that, though, I'm doing good. I'm almost 17 weeks now...crazy, huh? So now I'm just waiting for my next sonogram to a) confirm that everything's still OK (after the cramping incidence) and b) find out the gender!

by sahiti, Jul 21, 2009 11:23AM
To: Heather5
Heather iam so sorry about cramping but everything would be fine lol. All our prayers are with you and your baby.
Ya they told me to drink lots of water same .
woww to know the gender i think you would be excited

by lisaaaa3, Jul 21, 2009 11:36AM
Going for another HCG test tomorrow.  On friday it was 1300 so hopefully it should have doubled twice since then.  So scared.

How is every1 else.
Baby dust and healthy 9 months pregnancies to all.

:-)

by Heather5, Jul 21, 2009 01:44PM
Lisa: OMG! I’m so happy for you!!! Congratulations and best wishes for a happy, healthy nine months! :-)

Sahiti: Congrats again! And yeah, I’m very excited to find out if it’s a boy or a girl!

Bfromthed: I don’t think it was too early to trigger on CD10. If you triggered at night, that meant ovulation on CD12 and the follicles were already mature in size…so I think everything sounds very good! Best of luck this month! I’m moving you up to the 2WW list!

Angeldream: I’m so sorry about the BFN! Don’t give up, though…it’ll happen! As for when to get AF after stopping progesterone, I think I varies from person to person, but I would think within the next few days.

A_Muse4U: Oh no!!! I’m so sorry to hear about the bleeding! I really hope it’s not AF! You’ll be in my thoughts and prayers. I hope the ultrasound this week shows some unexpected good news! Take care of yourself!

Poeticnicky: Oh man….stupid, stupid, stupid, AF! I’m so sorry! I’ll keep my fingers crossed that this new cycle will be the one for you!

Kristine: Glad you’re doing well! Keep us posted, OK? SSBD!!!

Quinns momma: That’s wonderful news about your ultrasound! So glad to hear that everything’s looking just perfect! :-)

Kdm: Welcome back! I hope you had a nice trip! Hopefully a natural cycle will do the trick for you this month!

Silapooh: Oh my goodness…that must have been so scary! I’m glad to hear your sister is doing better, though! Keep us posted on her surgery and of course your upcoming DET!

Wendy: Yay! That’s wonderful news! How many weeks are you now? I never used the PIO shots, but I can only imagine how painful they would be. I was on crinone (vaginal) and progesterone (oral) instead. I stopped all the supplements at 11 weeks.

Pebbles: Yeah, that is weird that your doctor would be a whole month off on your FET…but you know what? None of that will matter when you get that well-deserved BFP! :-)

Devistated: I’m so sorry about the negative test! That really s u c k s! I hope your new cycle will bring you some better news! Sending you lots of SSBD for the coming month!

Hi all,
I'm new here. I joined this forum
bc I **** have anyone here at home going through this. I had my first IUI done this month. I got inpatient and took a hpt yesterday, it was negative :(. I'm on  dpiui10, is this too soon to take? Or I'm not pg. I took the clear blue easy digital one. I'm just so diappointed and upset.

I finally decided to join this group/forum because I need some type of a release from this frustrating time.

I am 38 and have been ttc for 4yrs.  This is the first time I have met with a Fertility Specialist and had my first IUI on the 8th of July.  My 2ww was today and my bloodwork came back negative.

I am just broken because I really thought everything would work out right.  I went in after the first week and my estrogen and proges were right on target, something I haven't had before and got my hopes to high.  It is super frustrating for me and I am in tears right now just knowing, I will have to try AGAIN.

Everyone's post are so reassuring and I appreciate the fact you are all here with the same purpose.

Thank you for sharing your stories.

Welcome, sotired210!!!  You're in the right place.  It is sO sad when we get our hopes up just so they can tumble apart b4 our ears/eyes.  I've always said my prayers b4 bedtime, and I still do, but I don't think I've prayed as much as I have since last year when I joined this forum.  I know the world is in dyer-need of prayers, but so is this forum.

Mind you, I do pray for everyone, but God knows what's going on w/the world.  What we need here are "special-intention" prayers and God knows I've done them and continue to do so for all of us.  Take care sotired210 and try to find the sotired210 you use to be, k?  I know you will heal physically, emotionally, & mentally, in time, but please try to be a little happier that you're here w/us now.  STAY STRONG!!!

O:-)

kdm, Muse, Heather - Thank you for your thoughts.  I've never been so happy to feel nauseated all day/night.  It's great!

Poeticnicky/Devistated - Your blessing will come.  Stay positive...

Heather - Thanks for keeping us updated on everyone's status.  With so many posts its kind of hard to keep up.  To answer your question...I'm 8 wks and 1 day today.  According to my RE, if everything looks ok this Friday I can start seeing my regular OB because I'll be "just another pregnant lady".  I look forward to being ordinary...

Grissco/Sotired - Welcome...you've joined a great group of super supportive women.

HI everyone.....Just wanted to say congrats to new BFP's. I am sorry to hear about the BFN's. Stay Strong. I had six IUI's and every single one was devastating. I am literally putting all my eggs in one basket...lol, Therefore, I am praying that IVF works for me.
I started Accupuncture today. It was definitely relaxing and I am looking fwd to the next 5 sessions. I am looking fwd to my appt Friday when I will get all my drugs (he he) and instructions on how to make those follies grow. Starting stims on 7/25...will keep u all posted!

Heather5: Give it up, girl!! When is your next ultrasound appt. I am excited to find out gender. Please keep me posted. Cramping is normal during the first trimester. I have you in my prayers.....keep drinking your fluids and please take it easy. I want pictures of that beany soon posted,,,;)))

Mwhitcomb: So glad u had your transfer and glad to hear you are staying positive. I know that you will have your little miracle to hold soon and treasure forever. Still toasting to you!

Bfromthed:  I've missed u! Glad to hear you and DH are staying busy and bding all around. It sounds like you're covering your bases and I hope you get your very own BFP very soon. When will u test??

Hi I was wondering if anyone can tell me their experience on porgesterone suppositories, what are the side effects, I have read that a delayed period is one, has anyone ever started a period while on the progesterone, or will I automatically not get it til I stop taking it. I have been having frequent headaches I don't know if it's caffeine withdrawl and I want to say all day cramping, whenever I move around alot. Any of your experiences will be very helpful to me.
   Thx

Looking4ablessing: Yay! I'm so excited for you!!! I can't believe you've already gone through the stims, retrieval AND transfer! Take it easy over the next few days! Sending you lots and lots of baby dust!!!

sotired & grissco: Welcome to the thread!  I've added you both to the list. Sotired: I'm so sorry your first IUI didn't work. I felt the same way after my first IUI failed. Don't give up, though, it will happen!!!
grissco: 10 days past IUI is still pretty early...most women have to wait a little longer than that to get an accurate result...so give it another few days and try again! Best of luck!

BabyMamas: It's not until next Friday! So I still another week and a day to go! I'll definitely keep you posted, though! Glad to hear you enjoyed your first acupuncture session! And best of luck tomorrow!

Wendy: I see...so you still have a few more weeks of progesterone. Glad you got to change to the suppositories then! Good luck tomorrow! You'll be "just another pregnant lady" before you know it ;-)

A_Muse: Best of luck today! Please keep us posted when you get back from your dr.'s office!

Kdm: Yeah, it really is like the 2WW all over again! Just one more week (and a day)! Can't wait for your name to be added to the BFP list too! SSBD!!!

bfromthed: Best of luck with your progesterone test tomorrow! I hope it's a nice strong number!

I am cd 11 today - I go in tomorrow for my cd 12 ultrasound and bloodwork.  Determining the results will determine when they will schedule my IUI.

I feel like my left ovary is about to burst - not O pain yet but pressure.

by trying2conceive, Jul 23, 2009 01:59PM
Is it just me or is someone else feeling the same..."clique" in this forum - REALLY?

Chrisdaniel: I wish I could help but I know nothing about progesterone. How's everything? I might do HPT today only because I'm impatient, not because it's time  - do you know if women get a better reading if HPT is done in the morning?

Grissco: looks like you are on the same schedule as chrisdaniel and I along w/ several others :) I'm no expert for this is my first time going through IUI, but it does sound kind of early - my nurse did say to wait at least unitl 12piui. I wish for the best!

Hi everyone.  I haven't posted in a several days, but I've kept on reading the forum.  I graduate tomorrow with my master's degree in teaching, so I have been finishing up some major projects :~)

As for me, today is 7 dpet!  On 4 dpet I had some tiny little cramps. On 5dpet I had some sharp cramps that lasted only several seconds, but nothing really since then.  Last night I couldn't sleep due to my backache and abdominal area.  It was't cramps in the abdominal area, but discomfort.  I don't know what to think of it.  No other symptoms.  I am praying for some sign of pregnancy, but I am starting to get discouraged.  Maybe it's just too early.  I know last time I didn't have implantation bleeding until 12dpet and two days later I had my beta which came back positive, so when I think about that it makes me feel better.  Praying for all of us who r still trying to conceive to get a BFP, and those who do have BFP I always pray for you and a healthy nine months.  SSBD to all, and sending some POSITIVE VIBES OUT!!!!!

trying2conceive:  I am sorry you feel that way.  You are very welcomed to this forum.  Many of us have known each other for quite sometime because it's been a VERY LONG journey in the ttc world, but if you have any questions I would be more than happy to answer the best I can.  We have some great gals in here for support.  What cycle day are you???

Hi... test. I tested this am with $ store brand and it was negative. Then I wanted to do a brand name so I took EPT digital, the one you can do 5 days before your period is due, came back... pregnant, I thought for sure I was jsut missing the NO before the word pregnant, still not satisfied, I had to take the old fashioned First Response that shows one line or two and sure enough there were two lines, the second line was barely there, but I could see it. I suggest you do a digital, this way your eyes can't play tricks. I am also absolutely positive the HCG shot is out of my system!  Of course I won't be completely satisfied unitl I go for the blood test on Monday, and hear what kind of numbers I have. Please let me know if any of you other gals test, I am soo curious!

I know I don't have tell you all how devistating this is. I don't even know where to go from here.

Thanks for all of your support.

Oh no, Wendy! I'm so very sorry to hear that. My heart truly goes out to you and your DH. I've had two miscarriages myself, so I know how difficult it can be when you get that dreaded no-heartbeat news. My first miscarriage was actually right around the same time...the baby stopped developing around 8 weeks. I know there's not much we can say or do to make you feel any better right now, but please know that we are all here for you if you need us. Sending you a big cyber hug!

Wendy: My heart goes out to you. Just know that you are in our thoughts and despite the difficulty of this all, GOD has a plan for you and all of us. Stay positive...

bfromthed: 18 sounds like a good number. I think they want anything above a 15 on a medicated cycle.....so, let us know how you are feeling during the dreaded 2WW and truckloads of sticky sticky dust and vibes to you!

mwhitcomb: Mary...I agree with bfromthed. Those all good signs, so rest up....take it easy and keep posted on your progress....lots of sticky vibes to you!

ALL: I had my appt with RE yesterday....I started AF on 7/22, so US showed thinning of lining (which is good at this point). Looks like the cysts are gone and I started baby aspirin this morning and will be receiving my first cocktail of injectables this everning. I go in for follies monitoring on Wednesday and Friday of next week. I am so excited about in vitro. ;)

All:   So today I went to the restroom after coming back from graduation (IT WAS 2HRS LONG!!!!) and there was nothing on my pad.  When I got home had to go again, but this time there was some brown spotting on the pad.  I wiped (TMI I KNOW) and it was brownish.  I am hoping and praying that it was implantation bleeding.  I do not want to do a HPT until I closer to my beta date.  Poor dear hubby had to deal with me all day.  He said I am in "one of those moods" where I am very emotional or very p i s s y .  HAHA must be the meds, I think.  Any how, sending some good sticky, positive vibes.

Heather/kdm/poeticnicky/babymamas/mwhitcomb/all:

Thank you so much for your hugs and prayers.  It really does help.

DB and I cried and prayed all last night and most of this morning.  Even though the RE assured us that there was nothing we could have done to prevent this, DB feels responsible.  He thinks that he could have done more to reduce my stress level. I let him know that he did a great job putting up with my CRAZY mood swings and equally crazy demands.  We're going to focus on getting through the next week before deciding what to do next.

I am very grateful to have this group to share my thoughts with. Thanks you guys.

Babymomma thanks for the prayers.....not feeling much at this point ( I know its early) bb's are not as tender :( from trigger just a sore throat and lower back pain.

All: tt re's office they said 18.1 is a good progestrone level and that it can sustain a viable pregnancy if we are blessed this month...also if no af by August 6th then we will test because my cycles run so far and in between...I will keep you ladies posted! Sticky Vibes Baby Dust and God's blessings to us all!

by trying2conceive, Jul 26, 2009 11:29AM
So BT is tomorrow @ 14dpiui. I'm excited but at the same time I kind of want to wait at least until Wednesday to see RE. I think I'm trying to avoid hearing any bad news :(

Although AF is due to arrive tomorrow, I'm thinking it might not be 'til the evening or so. I usually break out right before AF...there's always that one that pops right out!!! This time, not so...well I had one last week, but it usually sticks around for AF and it vanished on its own w/in a couple of days. My PMS symptoms continue and I know it's not HCG in my system since it's been 15dphcg. I feel in need of naps and if I don't then I end up going to bed earlier than usual, moody (oh boy is my husband being patient - love him) and bb's are tender.

As for HPT, they have been negative. I took the last one yesterday just to get the dar n thing out of the way and not be wondering whether or not I should test. I have no more of those gadgets around the house :)

For those of you who haven't ready my posts before...the only hope I still have is the fact that I had spotting (bright red, a drop or two) on 7dpiui. Also, when I would go in to get checked, RE said lining of uterus was how it should be - at first it was thin but then as we were getting closer to do IUI, lining had become thicker like a sandwich, in other words 3 layers. Each time the RE would say something I would ask, "is that good?" I pretty much ask that question anytime I can :)

I truly hope everyone gets their little bundle soon enough :) Wish me luck!

Trying:  I sure hope you do get a BFP and that those HPT are just faulty.  Trigger shot should definitely be out by now, so I am crossing my fingers for you!!!!  Have you decided yet when to go to the RE.  I say the sooner you go, the sooner you can make plans, whether it's good or bad, definitely praying for the good though.  Keep us posted.

All:  I had brownish spotting all day yesterday, and a bit this morning, but nothing this afternoon.  I am so praying that was implantation bleeding.  I don't remember it lasting so long the first time I got a BFP.  Just praying that maybe more than one is getting comfortable.

Just a quick question for this cycle is it too late to start taking my temps to see if they stay elevated (I hear this is a sign of pregnancy....sometimes)?

by BabyMamas09, Jul 26, 2009 06:48PM
To: bfromthed
B,
Never too late to take your temps, especially if you know ur baseline. Take it in the AM. If they stay elevated throughtout the next ten days, I say it's a good sign. Sometimes you see a dip when AF is about to start. Hoping you stay up there and that you're blessed with that BFP in around ten days. Keep us posted and truckloads of Baby Dust ur way!

Well I went for my BT this morning won't have any answers until this afternoon, I am really hoping I wasn't mislead by all the tests I have been taking at home, and if I get a BFP, I just really hope the numbers are good, this was our last month as well before we were moving on to IVF!  Baby dust to all, and sticky baby dust to all with the BFP!!

Ok it's official, I started my pd. The hpt's were correct. I had iui done on July 12, Im truely disapponted!! It's our first iui so I was kinda expecting it.  I hosted my nieces 10th birthday party yesterday, I had cramps all day and felt so upset I could not even enjoy my self. We will be trying agian in October or as soon as my dh thinks it's a good time to do it agian.
Good luck to all lots of baby dust your way and congrats to all bfp!!

Chrisdaniel: A line is a line, no matter ho faint…so I’d say CONGRATS!!!! Best of luck today! I hope you get a good, strong number!

Vrgsmom: Oh, no…I’m so sorry to hear about your loss! My heart truly goes out to you and your family... I had to have a D&C after my first miscarriage too. Same thing…not heartbeat, but my body was still holding on to the pregnancy. I hope you get blessed with another BFP very soon! HUGS!

Trying2conceive: Best of luck with your blood test today! Remember PMS symptoms and pregnancy symptoms can be very similar, and some women won’t get a positive home test until they’re periods are actually late. So hopefully, you’ll get some good news today! By the way, how many days past IUI are you?

BabyMamas: Yay! You’re on your way to that BFP!!!! How did your first two days of injectables go? Can’t wait to hear your progress after your next appointment later this week! Oh, and yeah, I’ll definitely post as soon as I get back on Friday… You know what, though? Lately, I keep thinking it’s a girl. Not really sure why…I just find myself thinking “she” and “her” when referring to the baby. Hmmmm! I guess we’ll find out on Friday ;-)

Bfromthed: I agree with BabyMamas…might as well try the temping! It’s a little bit harder to interpret your temps when you don’t have the full cycle as a reference. But generally, you just want the temps to remain in the same (higher) range for a BFP. Oh, and by the way, 18 is a great progesterone number!!!

Mwhitcomb: Oooooh, that sounds very promising! Cramping AND spotting!!! Keep us posted, OK? Oh, and congrats on your graduation!

Cwolf: I’m so glad everything went well with your FET last week. Sending you tons and tons of SSBD for a tiny little bean or two ;-)

Poeticnicky: I noticed you’re already CD9 this cycle, so maybe this will be your month! So, your plan is to try naturally for a few cycles then? Either way, I hope you get your BFP very soon! SSBD!

Wendy: Oh, Wendy! I’m so sorry your DB feels that way. I’m sure he was a GREAT support to you during your cycle, and he should not feel responsible at all for what happened. Take your time, both of you, to grieve…and don’t feel like you need to talk about the next step until you’re ready… HUGS!

A_Muse4U: How did it go on Thursday? Still hoping for some good news!

Kramik: Four follies sound great! Let us know how it goes today!

Kdm: How are things going with you?

Grissco: I’m so sorry about stupid AF! It’s always such a letdown when she decides to rear her ugly head! I hope you get to see those two little lines very soon! Will you be trying naturally for the next few months then…or just taking a break until October?

Patience, Hruffo, Sahiti & Lisa:

Thnaks for the support and help getting through th 2ww once again. Well I guess third time is a charm, after this we were going to IVF, but I got my bw back today and confirmed BFP++++++++++. We are very happy, relieved, scared, and cautious. We won't truly be able to start believing this until the heartbeat, and I will probably tell friends and family after 12 weeks. Go back on Wed, will keep everyone posted.
Praying always for all of us ttc,BFP'S, and all those who unfortunately had heartache.
You are all in my heart and prayers, and not only have I been constantly thinking about my own 2ww, but I feel like I have come to know alot of you so well, that now I am also thinking about your 2ww, too. Good Luck. Sticky baby dust to all of us!
