Did I miss ovulation?

This is my third time on clomid and I'm not sure if it's working. My first cycle was 35 days and the second one was 42 days. This time, I got my progesterone checked on day 27 and it came back saying I didn't ovulate. Now, I'm on day 32 and OPKs are negative. Is it possible I missed it between day 27 and 32? How long should I stay on clomid before trying something else.?

I know my experience is different, but maybe this will help. This month I took clomid d3-7 and I took so many ovulation tests. ...starting on day 9 until day 16...i never did get a clear lh surge, but when i went for progesterone test it was 19.5 and supposedly anything above 10 means you ovulated. I'm still waiting to see if AF is coming or not.
