Does anyone know about HCG levels

by lookingup, Oct 25, 2007 02:07PM
I just got the call that my HCG level was a 30.  Tuesday was 25...do I have to worry.  My RE said it is going a little slow but it's going up and it is early in the pregnancy.  I had my transfer on the 11th so today is exactly 14 days.  I have another blood test on Monday so I'm going crazy thinking...can anyone shed some light on this?  I looked on line and they say everyone is different and there are sooooo many websites with different numbers.
Any personal experiences?

I don't want to be a "downer", but the numbers should come close to doubling every 48-72 hours. Of course, it's still very early, so I definitely would not give up. Can't you get another test before Monday?

I'm sorry to say that wannabe is right.  The numbers should be doubling every 2-3 days...they still can, though so don't give up!

Good luck and keep us posted!

Can't they send you to a lab on the weekend. I personally would be worried. (sorry) I hope all goes well though.

I just talked to my RE and Tuesday the level was 22 and now 30..she told me not to worry since it is early.  I am going to continue to believe that all is going to be well...I've read some articles that sound promising.
I just have to keep on believing.

i went on line and googled hcg levels in early pregnancy...there were many times that it was told that implantation could of happened later than what was thought and that is why the numbers are like that.  Also, some say they have seen babies born healthy and full term.  That is helping...like I said...I just keep on believing...I have to!!!

have faith in your RE.  Just think, she  looks at HCG levels hundreds of times, and she isn't  worried.  You stay strong.
