I had a donor embryoCea transfer 7 days ago. The embryosCea were 5 days post fertilization. I have done HPT for 3 days now. Today the HPT came back positive, although very faint. I called the nurse at M.D.'s office. She said it was unreliable because of the HCG is given during transfer. I thought HCG was given during retreviel. Since I am using a donor egg, does anyone know if you are given HCG? Thanks!
I ahd donor eggs and did IVF and did not take hcg. I would think you would know if you did, did you take any medications prior to your transfer?? I dont think you would take hcg if they were donor
Wouldn't they have given you an HCG trigger shot prior? Yea, you'd think you would have known. Maybe do a HPT again in a day or two. If the line is fainter than it was this time than you know it's the HCG (if you had one). If the line is darker than it would mean you are pregnant! Good luck!!!!
wishing you the best
