I had a vasectomyBefore and after vasectomy Vasectomy 6 years ago, and 4 months ago had a vasectomyBefore and after vasectomy Vasectomy reversal. The consultant was very hopeful after the operation, even though he could only join one of the tubes. I had a sperm analysis at 6 weeks and 10 weeks after my reversal operation, and both tests came back negative. My partner and I are very unhappy, and don't know what to do next.
We have searched the internet, and the more i read, the more it seems that it may be worth having a second reversal to see if this will work better than the 1st reversal. Is this feasible?
We have also heard that we could have a procedure that takes sperm from me, and using IVF treatment, is then used to inseminate my partner. Is there any advice you could give on this, in terms of where to look for the best advice, etc?
