Follie question?

by butterflybabies, Nov 14, 2008 12:44PM
Hello Ladies,
Seems I always think of questions after my doc appointments so then I come on here and ask for your wisdom and knowledge..Anyway my question is from the time you take your trigger to the time of your retrieval do your follies continue to grow or do they stop growing because you took the trigger shot?
Thanks Ladies,
SSBD to all!!

I think the trigger gives them the last boost they need so they continue to grow until they are retrieved. Thats what I have gathered from my RE and from all the reading I have done. Good Luck. I will be starting IVF next month :)

Trigger helps your follicles to mature.  At the time of the trigger I only had 4-8 mature follicles but 15 mature eggs were retrieved.  So, the trigger adds a really nice boost.

When are you triggering?
