Follitism

We did our first follitism cycle last month. I had two nice eggs develop (and a few other small ones on both ovaries) and we triggered on Friday. My hubby got the flu and we had to cancel the cycle only hours after taking the trigger shot. My question is did anyone experience anything similiar and did you have cysts after canceling? My RE said that is a possibility and it just does not sit well that we would have to sit out a month b/c of a cyst after having such a great experience with the injections.
