Hello all....
Transferred 3/3 day embies on 10/11 and I just couldn't help it and took an hpt and came out negative. My heart just sank!! Did I do this too early? Is there hope still??? Plz share :(

Hi Elsaca! I am in the same position as you are. I had a transfer on 10/11 3 embies on 3dt. I took hpt yesterday and the day before- negative. However I am still hoping it was too early. So let's wait and pray for positive results soon.

YES you took it too early! I took one on day 11 post transfer and it was TOTALLY negative then on day 13 it was positive. I just found out today I am having TWINS! I devastated myself too. Relax and try not to test again for at least 3 more days. I know how hard it is but I was totally devastated for no reason. Good luck, sending my prayers your way!

Today I am 7 weeks. I know it's early to share but I want to encourage and give hope to all of you waiting. I know how terrible waiting is....be strong, you can do it.

Kelly what symptons after the transfer did you have if any?

I had bad cramps, even turning in bed at night, it would wake me up. I guess that is totally normal. Even today my ovaries were very swollen. I was EXHAUSTED like never before. Could not keep my eyes open around 3 pm every day. But that is about it. You may or may not have any symptoms, and be pregnant. Everyone is different. What are your symptoms?

Thanks KellyF42 for your reply, reading it gives me hope and will try to stay away from the hpt's and wait for my beta.
This is our first IVF and I have no idea what I'm supposed to be feeling, what to expect, etc. After reading in the blogs about all the symptoms some of the ladies say they feel, I don't know if what I feel is real or if my head is playing tricks on me!! So far I've had mild cramps, my bbs are slightly sore, headaches and back pain. Not sure if these are good signs or just a result of the cocktail of hormones in my  body. I had 3/3 day embies with ICSI and assisted hatching, I'm hoping in my heart I get a positive. I was told today my progesterone level is 87 and estrogen 47 (low according to the RE but not crucial in achieving pregnancy) go figure, one more thing to stress over!!

To Dorti....we're date twins, is that what it's called? Anyway, my prayers are with you, let's hope we both receive good news soon!!!

I had IUI on the 11th!  I also gave in a POAS today, it was negative.... I'm bummed too...  I know it is early but just thought maybe, if I am, it would show up...  SSBD to all of us!! :)

I know, you guys will think I am crazy but I already took hpt three times. I started Sunday,  Monday and this morning Wednesday - negative. I thought I saw a shadow of that second line on the last hpt. I know that is not what it suppose to be but and I am still hoping for positive results.

Don't think you're crazy dorti, I've tested again today although I told myself I'd wait, so impatient and worried!!!  Hubby doesn't know I'm testing and feel bad keeping it from him but one of us freaking out and bummed is enough. I've been feeling more crampy today and I'm hoping it's a good sign. I read somewhere that a beta after 10dpt is the norm and I'm having to wait 14 days, is this true? So tempted to go and do the beta before my appointment on the 26th....ughhhhhh.....I am going menta!!

Waiting is the worst part....  I started spoting today so will likely see AF in full flow by tomorrow.  We are taking a break for this coming month then right back on for December.  Keep up hope for a BFP!!!! :)  Baby Dust to you guys!!!

Took a hpt again today and saw what I think is an extremely faint line. Thought my eyes were playing tricks on me and took the strip outside and i do think there is something there.....I'm hoping it's not wishful thinking and I get a darker line tomorrow.

I still have hope... I expected a full flow today.  Light spotting yesterday kind of freaked me out.  It was super light yesterday and today even lighter...  Normally it will just get heavier and heavier until bam!!!!  But this is different, I think...  Hopefully this is a good sign.  I had a dip in temp today.  I really hope tomorrow morning my temp is back up.  I am hoping this is implantation bleeding and dip.  I am hopeful!! :)  A faint line is good!!!!  Take another test tomorrow or Sunday.... it will probably be even darker!!!!!  Good luck!  Keep us posted! :)

I think i am going to give myself a heart attach worrying so much today!  This has been the hardest 2WW yet!!!  Hopefully its my last one for a while.. :)  My spotting has totally stopped.....  good sign!!! :)  Praying for a BBT increase in the morning!! :)

I took my first round of clomid 50 mg twice a day and finished on Monday since then I have been have cramps and nausea is this normal and I wanted to know how long did you all wait to check and see if your first cycle was successful?

If you are taking hpts, I hear First Response Early Pregnancy are the best ones. I was using Clearblue Easy because you can buy them in a pack a Costco but switched to FREP and the next day I had a positive hpt. Sending lots of baby dust your way.....:)

Thank you Kelly. I think I will wait until Monday for my beta. Every time I saw negative on hpt I was devastated. Lately I do not feel too many symptoms. My breasts were a little sore before and now they feel normal. I have some cramping from time to time but really light. So I don't know what to think. I am still waiting for a miracle to happen.

Took another hpt today and it's totally positive!!!....the line is very visible now and I'm ecstatic but won't be celebrating until my beta on the 26th.

KellyF42: today is 13dpt and just like you today I got the positive I needed!!! Thanks so much for your words of encouragement :)

Awesome news!!! That is wonderful. That is EXACTLY what happened to me and I am 8 weeks pregnant with twins. Looking back, I wish I hadn't taken a hpt so early but I couldn't help it!!! Waiting is just torture. Keep me updated! So so so happy for you :)

Good luck...have you talked to your doctor about a 5 day transfer? It seems it works. I have 2 IVFs (3rd  day) and they didnt work so I will be trying for a 5th day next time...

Had a few days of joy but I'm afraid this journey is over. Had a BFP on 10/26 with hcg at 94. Went in for the second beta today 10/29 and got the call from the nurse saying the lab ran the wrong test!!! They ran qualitative instead of quantitative. The nurse told me the qualitative came back negative but to wait for the correct results. The lab ran the correct test but by the time they had the results the clinic was closed.  I got anxious and got the results directly from the lab and hcg dropped to 70. Even I know this is bad news but I guess I'll hear it from the doctor tomorrow. What an emotional roller coaster. Those who go through several cycles are true warriors!! I'm hoping for a miracle but ready to receive the bad news. Thanks to all :)

The doctor instructed to discontinue the progesterone shots and estrogen patches, it's over. Going in for my 3rd beta tomorrow only to confirm my hcg levels are going down. I'm so devastated I have no idea what to do. I can't sleep, I keep going over things in my head trying to remember if I did anything wrong. My husband want us to do another IVF but can't dish out another $15K. My friends are suggesting IUI, several have done it with great resuts so Im wondering if I should try that route. The odds with IUI at my age, 38, are not so good. Out infertility is unexplained, both of us are healthy and my levels are good. I guess it's age, that's all. Haven't gotten my period yet, hope it arrives soon so we can move forward.

I'm sorry.  Take the time before your AF arrives to consider your options.  Keep an open mind and mostly have faith.  Trust that it will happen for you.

I was hoping for positive results also. I was devastated . I am still wondering why  I did not get pregnant . That was my third ivf. However I did not loose my hope, I will start my frozen cycle in a couple of moths ( I have four frozen embies). If all of them survive I ask my doctor to trf them all. My insurance pays for four full ivf cycles per lifetime. If all of my cycles will fail I will try IUI. I am 38 1/2 so I am not sure if IUI at this age will help but I will do whatever it takes. How old are you? How many ivf did you go through? Do you have any frozen embryos?
