Getting Pregnant?

by mandakaye, Aug 26, 2008 12:25AM
Ok. I have my tubes tied. I was wondering if Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) would still work to get me pregnant or if I still have to have my tubes untied first? I am getting married soon and my fiance has no kids of his own and wants at least one really really bad but is ok with it there is absolutely no way of getting pg. So i was just wondering. Thanks for the help.

Hello! you don't even need ICSI (unless you have a male factor - like low sperm or morpholgy etc) regular IVF should work great, without having to untie your tubes! Many people do IVF who don't even have any tubes at all! its a great option, and IVF is cheaper than ICSI IVF as well! good luck and congrats on your wedding!
