HCG levels

I just had my first HCG levels and they were 356 on 12 dpo. The lab put an H after the nuber and said it was high for a single birth. Has anyone else ever had numbers that high and not had twins??

I have had 4 sets of multiples in the pst but only one survived each time ecept I lost all three triplets. I was only banking on one and get a repeat today! Can't wait to see if it more then doubles!!

I would say that if you are sure that you are 12dpo that you have a very high chance of at least twins.  If you did IUI or IVF it could be more than that.  I got pregnant with five babies through IUI and my first beta at 14dpiui was 451.  I guess you had early implanters.  I can't wait to hear your second number.  Good luck!

I had 104 on my first test after 10 dpo and again they checked on the 13th, it was 434, and on 17th 1800. My doctor was saying I could have multiples (they transfered 2 for me).

I wish you good luck! I guess you'll have twins with this high number.

Those numbers sounds like twins to me if not more.  I had my beta yesterday 12dpt and it was 176.  Go luck and let us know the outcome.  Congrats!!!!

I got my second numbers back and it was 732 now at 15dpo. The results say H like the other one did for being high. My progesterone was 42 on 13dpo and that is what it should be in the second trimester. Yes I am sure when I o'd becasue of temps and OPK's. all natural too. I have had several sets of multiples. I am freaking out!!!! I can't wait till my appointment tomorrow.

A few things I have noticed is that I am way to tired then I ever had been in previous pregnancies, also I am hving that round ligimet paina nd pain higher like my uterus is growing but never felt that till like say 12 weeks before wit the other ones. SO you think it could be twins then???? OMG:-)

Can you guys clarify something for me please.  If you have IVF what is considered the day of ovulation?  The day that they remove the follicles or the day that they transfer the embryos?  

I had my first beta today and it was 71 at 11 days post transfer.  I just want to more of less compare my levels to yours and on the days that you guys got tested.  Thanks.

for IVF the day they remove follicles then count from there. Some people transfer the embryos on day 3 or day 5. Your beta test is usually 14 days from when they remove the follicles. I am guessing you did a day 3 transfer.

Yes, I had 4 embryos transferred on day 3.  So basically they day they do the extraction is the day that is considered ovulation?

Sorry this is my first IVF cycle, so I am still very new to all of this.

9dpt my beta was a 72 and my beta today is 218 and I'm 11dpt now.
