by Maria1982, Sep 04, 2009 06:00PM
I did 6 ivf cycle before and nothing works. This is the 7th and the day of transfer was aug. 24. and my beta Hcg was due today sept. 4th. My beta hcg level is 11 the Dr. said that it's too low and they rearly see a prengnancy with that level, but I have to do the test again on sunday. Does anyone had this level of Hcg and ended to be pregnant ?

Im in the same boat with you on this one.
8/31/09 14 days after retrieval BETA 16
9/3/09 17 days after retrieval BETA 32
9/5/09 19 days after retrieval BETA -  going today I hope its much higher today!

What Ive read is as long as it is higher than 5 you are pregnant. The number does not matter what matters is how it doubles. Supposedly should double every 48-72 hours.
My doctors did not like how mine did (it doubled in 72 hrs). SO I have another blood test today at 10am.

3 weeks LMP: 5 - 50 mIU/ml
4 weeks LMP: 5 - 426 mIU/ml
5 weeks LMP: 18 - 7,340 mIU/ml
6 weeks LMP: 1,080 - 56,500 mIU/ml
7 - 8 weeks LMP: 7, 650 - 229,000 mIU/ml
9 - 12 weeks LMP: 25,700 - 288,000 mIU/ml
13 - 16 weeks LMP: 13,300 - 254,000 mIU/ml
17 - 24 weeks LMP: 4,060 - 165,400 mIU/ml
25 - 40 weeks LMP: 3,640 - 117,000 mIU/ml
Non-pregnant females: <5.0 mIU/ml
Postmenopausal: <9.5 mIU/ml

Caution must be used in making too much of hCG numbers. A normal pregnancy may have low hCG levels and deliver a perfectly healthy baby. The results on an ultrasound after 5 - 6 weeks gestation are much more accurate than using hCG numbers. -what I have read.

Ive been looking online alot and Ive seen peoples numbers jump dramatically higher. So we both need to hang in there.

Look at this site for more info:

this site was so comforting. because I was driving myself crazy with these BETA numbers. Please read.

Also here is another site with some info:

Sorry I didnt answer sooner. How many days apart was this test? It started at 11 then went to 14? I wouldnt give up yet. What did the dr say? I went in for the last BETA and got a number of 710. Its been tripling. So maybe you just need a little more time. Keep me posted.
