You could get preggo with the 50mg of clomid, but I didn't really O until 100mg. I O'ed a few eggs (2 or 3 - not sure) on 150mg. I never had luck with clomid, but others have. I had to take clomid and injectibles, along with a trigger shot, got a BFP, but lost the baby. When i took metformin (I have PCOS too) all by itself, I o'ed too, but no luck. I think a combo of the met and clomid might do the trick but don't be surprised if it take 100 or 150 mg to work. Having PCOS sucks, huh? :) If you try just clomid for a few months and nothing, go see a RE and try injectibles, they weren't bad (pain wise) and t worked for me, I GOT pregnant...

I usually O anywhere between CD 13 and CD 18 on clomid, so baby dance the whole time :) Just in case... Good luck sweetie!
