High levels of FSH

by shar7222, Jul 18, 2007 10:18AM
Hi,

Has anyone had high levels of FSH and gone on to sucessfully have a baby?  I had my day 3 levels tested and my FSH came back as 22.7.  The only thing is that right before the test, I was pregnant with really low HCG levels so they put me on prometrium.  Once they knew the pregnancy was not viable they told me to get off the progesterone.  I went off of the progesterone on Friday, had the mc on Sunday and had the test done on Tuesday.  I'm wondering if with being on the progesterone and being pregnant, if that would have affected the test.  I had asked the nurse if I should take the test and she said to go ahead but that my levels might come back high.  I'm going to wait until next month and take the test again.

I've read some women have success lowering FSH with Fertilaid. I've not tried it or checked into it, but several posters on ff swear by it.

Thanks.  I'm having another test next month so we'll see if it goes down.  I'll look into it.
