Since 2006 I have not been able to conceive, unexplained infertilityInfertility Infertility - resources Primary infertility. I tested positive for MTHR A1289C, but was told it was insignificant. I was put on Clomid and never conceived two yrs ago. I was just told I had an elevated Homocysteine Level and a deficiency in The B Vitamins. Is it possible for me to correct the deficiency and go on to have a normal pregnancy/healthy child after these issues. I am now on B Complex Vitamins which should bring down my Homocysteine within a few months. How long should I wait until I conceive? I am wondering why the infertility specialist didn't check my Homocysteine level a few yrs ago. This may have been avoided had it been checked? Please advise. I don't know if we should give up our hope of ever conceiving....
Thanks,

Hey there, first of all DON"T give up!!!!! You are WAY too young to do that!
I don't have answers for you, but I just wanted to give you some support :) About the B vitamins, are you talking about B12, B6 & folic combo? I did read that it takes at least 2 months to be in your system to kick in..........the thing is though, I'm not sure WHAT it's really for (not folic) so I was hoping YOU could tell me :D
I decided to take this combo about 2 months ago myself, I figured it can't hurt since all 3 are water soluble, just not sure what the 2 mainly are for.
