Do you think I have any hope at all to get my lining up to 6-8 mm? (this is where my RE said she would at least like to see it). Does estraceEstrace Estrace vaginal cream actually help?
If anyone has any other advice in regard to this, I'd really appreciate it!
Whenever I did clomid my doctor automatically prescribed me estrace for that very reason. Yes, it does help and does cause the lining to thicken rather quickly.. :)
I wish I had heard of Estrace, I would have asked my RE about it. I have thin lining to begin with. On Clomid it went down to 6 which he wasnt happy with. I have had more luck on Femara with it being around 7.2, but I sure would like to see it thicker than that!
I have an appointment on the 25th of Nov. I'm gonna ask about Estrace. Thanks for mentioning it. I wish the RE had prescribed it AGES ago! Is it expensive? Is it an injection or a pill?
Gigi: Estrace is a small blue/green pill that you can take orally or you can stick it up your who-ha. :) It wasn't expensive for me but it was covered by my insurance so it was $10 for a 30 pills. I think I'm supposed to take it during the 2 week wait and then stop.
Everytime I was on Clomid - my dr had me wear a Vivelle Dot (estrogen patch) so that the lining of my uterus wouldn't get too thin. I would put the patch ( on my abdomen) on Monday when I started Clomid - then apply a new patch on Thursday. It worked well each time - the dr was satisfied with the results
Good Luck
