How much longer do I wait to trust a HPT/Pregnancy Blood Test?

I am 28 - have never been pregnant, have never planned to be pregnant... due to medical reasons I can not take BC
I started my last period on 11-Oct, had unprotected sex on 16-Oct.  I have been feeling just off lately - emotional etc(I have Crohn's disease, and was just recently diagnosed with non-invasive cervical Cancer) so I chalked it up to that.  5 days ago I started having really noticeable pain/soreness/swelling in my breasts... Fluid Vag dischage - with no other yeast infection type symptoms.  Now I am starting to think that I might be pregnant.  Actually I am starting to feel sure I am.  I took an HPT lastnight and got a negative - but not feeling to confident in that as it is really early still.  How much longer should I be waiting?  I was thinking like the 14th?  If I dont get my period?  I have been having them every 2 weeks for the last 4-5 months, which is part of what lead to the discovery of the cervical cancer.
I just need some advice

hey i take a lot of pregnancy tests haha and at the day of the missed period it's 99% accurate and the percentage of accuracy decreases for every day before that.  It can detect UP TO 5days before the missed period but that is not a guarantee.  It can give a false negative i always wait till the day of or after my missed period because that's when it's the most accurate. so do that and wait 2mins and check! GOOD LUCK!
