Wow, it's amazing to see how many of us are going through the same things...I'm pretty sure I already know the answer but wanted to be sure. I just had my embryoCea transfer 5/8 and my bloodwork isn't scheduled till 5/19 - of course I couldn't stand it so went and bought a home test today ~ big fat negative. Just wondering how that could be if the HcG shot I gave myself was just last week. Wouldn't that hormone still be in the body? Is it still possible to have a positive result next week? Gosh this is so mind-boggling and enough to drive you crazy!
Good luck to everyone out there ~ so many of us in the same boat. Also too bad most insurances don't pay for IVf either ~ such a commonCommon cold thing :(
It is entirely possible for the HCG trigger shot to be out of your system and if you are pregnant it is too soon for your own hormones to produce a positive. HCG starts to doubleDouble-tussin dm the day of implantation so it is still very low at this point, in a couple of days you could very well have a positive. Keep the faith!
