IUI - do you know how much does it cost?

I am thinking to do IUI but i do not know if insurance will cover for that or not.  does anyone know how much does it cost to do that procedure?

It really varies from clinic to clinic and also depends on what meds your doctor puts you on.  I just did my first IUI (still in TWW), and the procedure was $325.  I was on Femara and Avandia, which my insurance covered.  I am taking progesterone suppositories now, which were $45.

Dr. put me on Clomid (3-7 days) then Estradiol (8-12 days), then will inject Novarel, after BD i have to take Premotrium.   i haven't ask my dr about IUI.  I might try this month and see.  Thanks for the info.

Mine cost anywhere from $600-800 each time we did it but it was a few years ago.

mine costs me like $250.00 plus any meds im doing.

Insurance covered the ultrasounds, dr visits and meds but we had to pay for the IUI which was $300.  I have blue cross blue shield federal.

thanks ladies for all the info.  I will think and consider doing this IUI.  

I have cigna and didn't cover for sonogram.  i have to paid $50 out my pocket each time i have sonogram.
