I asked my dr the same thing and he said that I could take it. He also told me (which a friend of mine also said) that once you get pregnant - you may not get the headaches again (or until you give birth).

I had severe migrains with my first pg, which is how I found out I was pg. My doctor told me that there were no migraine medicines safe to use while pg. I would talk to your dr, especially since you are ttc. I was given Darvocet, but I recomend tylenol, caffine, and a oil head rub called "Migra Stick". They are $5 at your local health food store. But talk to your dr to know for sure. Best of luck.

Hi, I am also TTC and have migraines which I take immetrex for.I would say that it is safe to take immetrex while TTC(only when you absoutly have too) but not while pregnant.... Another option that I would suggest is this, I've had terrible migraines for years and I tried everything to get rid of them, I was presicribed immetrex and it works great. But recently,I've tried excedrin extra strength, and its amazing!!! I would suggest tring that before the immitrex.  I hope this helps

If you do not know excedrine has aspirin in it and aspirin is not safe to take when you are pg. Apirin is a blood thinner, which can cause bleeding. So I would recommend contacting your DR if they get to bad.

I never said to take it while pregnant... if thats what you assumed then you are mistaken =)

No I didn't assume you meant during pg. I personally just make a habit since I am ttc not to take anything that isn't safe during pg just in case. I have hormonal migraines. I used to take Zomig and when I lost my baby in March I was having horrible migraines. I used up all my Zomig in a matter of days and had a whole other month until my insurance would cover more. So a friend told me about the "Migra Stick" and I have found that if I take extra strength tylenol, caffine, and the mirgra stick. If usually doesn't get to bad. The only thing different in what I do and excedrine, is no aspirine. I also will take two tylenol PM's if its real bad and go to bed, I usually wake up and find it gone.
