What does it cost you guys for your treatments? I was at the doctor today and even though no results have come back yet he thinks I have PCOS and said I should look into my options. I can't seem to find my insurance stuff they gave me to look it up yet. I am assuming this is going to be expensive....what do the different options cost you guys and how much does the average insurance cover?
My insurance covers infertilityInfertility Infertility - resources Primary infertility tests but not treatments. So, we had to pay for all treatments out of pocket. Your costs will depend on your coverage and on prices your physician charges. Those vary A LOT across physicians.
What just hormones be like? I'm hoping that I wont have to deal with more than that. If they put me on something like clomid what is that going to be like?
My insurance also covers the testing but not the treatments, though they paid to have my tubes reversed after i had them tied and that was a $10,000 bill after the surgery and hospital stay and it was in a different county then I live, go figure. Have you thought about natural herbs?
Accupuncture is suppose to really help you out to normalize pcos and your cycle. It also helps you get pregnant. It can get costly though. Becuase they prefer to treat you at least once a week @ around $70 per treatment. But people have sworn by it. Also you could try fertilaid its a natural herb vitamin that people have said helps.
