Meds for IVF

by bree08, Jun 30, 2009 09:32PM
Hey girls a few weeks ago at my IVF consult my RE told me about a program throug Fertility Life Lines called the Compassionate Care Program. With this program they donate to you enough meds for one IVF cycle!!! I think basically you get Gonal-F. But that is going to save us so much money. So I faxed over the application yesterday and today on my lunch break they called to tell me I'm APPROVED!!! I am soooo excited. If anyone is in the process of doing an IVF cycle or are going to be doing one call 866-538-7879. They want you to be starting an IVF cycle within a month or two. Good LUCK girls : )

It can be for anyone. I think you have to make under $90,000 a year, have a RE, no IF medical coverage, be a US citizen and be doing IVF within the next 2 months.

That's great!  Meds are expensive along w/vitamins, injections, bw/beta's, vacinne's/boosters. etc.  Yikes!  I'm sure this will help many women ttc.  God bless you in all of your endeavors bree08.  Take care!

Would my combined income with my spouse have to be below $90,000/year or individual income?

by bree08, Aug 10, 2009 01:15PM
I believe you both have to make under $90,000 combined. But the program goes by the cost of living in your area. I think all areas are different. I would definatly give it a try and call and see what they say. GOOD LUCK!!!

I gave them a call.  Hopefully the cost of living in the New Orleans Metro area allows dh and I to qualify.  The worst thing they can do is not approve the application, but at least I gave it a try.  We shall see.  I will let you know what happens.  I am in the pre-screening stage now.
