I am a mother and got my tubes cauterizated, I am 40 years old and divorced 8 years ago. Had a tummy tuckTucks hc also, found someone and we are in love He is younger than and We would love to have a Baby its this possible?
Anything is possible - especially in today's day and age - you could go the IVF route trying with your own eggs, you could go IVF with donor eggs, you could go surrogate... Just because your tubes are cauterized doesn't mean you don't/can't produce eggs - it just means the highway is closed :o)
I just went through kind of the same thing. My tubes were cauterized 5 years ago. I met and married a man that I myself couldn't have created any more perfectPerfect choice for me and decided to have the surgical procedure done to reattach the tubes. It's been 7 months and we are still waiting but my tubes had been severely cauterized therefore drastically reducing our chances. We are waiting 5 more months before returning to our Dr. He seemed hopeful. But you do have many other options. The IVF costs around 6- 9 thousand each time and since there's no guarantee, we went with the one time cost. Good luck to you!
$6-9k each? I wish my clinic charged that lol. Mine were $12-$15k each (medication, monitoring and procedures) and I am in MN. It costs more at my clinic for "older" patients because of the extraExtra strength mylanta calci tabs Extra strength pain relief stims needed for AMA.
i am looking into a tubalEctopic pregnancy Gynecologic laparoscopy Tubal ligation Tubal ligation - series reversal and heard back from the Dr. today He said that mine were cauterized and that this could make pregnancy after TR not likely to happen. he said it is an old method, to still be used. I had it done in june of 2008. I am disappointed that i was cauterized, I am going ahead with the surgery anyway. crazy thing is that he said the reason it is not done so much anymore was that it has a higher faileur rate, but is harder to reverse.
