No Morning sickness and worried

by Meadow841, Oct 30, 2009 11:15AM
I don't know if I am jumping the gun here, but I have no morning sickness at 4.5 weeks and I am getting scared. I read that no MS can indicate miscarriage or birth defects.

Did anyone here have a healthy baby with no MS? Is it too early for MS to start for me?

No, trust me, I had debilitating morning sickness, thank your stars that you don't.  Every pregnancy is unique, my friend had no morning sickness, no symptoms at all and she has the most adorable baby boy who is perfect.  BTW, you may be jumping the gun a bit.  My sickness started at week 6 - on the dot

I had no MS and my boy is just 1 yr old.

I was the EXACT same way with this pregnancy! We found out before 4 weeks, and I was SO worried that i didn't have any symptoms! But it didn't last long b/c they started showing up at 6 weeks. :) It's normal to feel this way and worry, I remember I was SO worried! Hang in there sweetie and enjoy not having morning sickness right now, because it's right around the corner! ;)

Hi-I remember thinking the same thing.  To put your mind at rest...I have never had 1 day of morning sickness and I am currently 13w5d pregnant-we have seen our little boy and he is great.  So, you may just be one of the lucky ones.  Or you could end up feeling sick later.  Best of luck to you!

Thanks so much for all the comments! It does help to put my mind at ease. I'm just so nervous for the bean. It's our first BFP after fertility issues, and I'm probably the biggest worry wart on the face of the planet!

I just got my bloodwork back today and my HCG went from 11 to 949, so I seem to be on the right track. They set me up for my first u/s on November 9th. It feels so surreal. I can't wait to see the picture on the monitor. I'm probably going to cry.

Thanks again for your responses!

<3,
Meadow

Hi there,
Try not to worry as it only makes things worst. I have a 2 year old daughter and was never sick throughout my whole pregnancy! Lucky I know! Every woman is different.
Good luck and stay healthy. x

I know just how you feel-we had 4 failed IUI's and finally concieved thru IVF so it seems to raise the stakes a bit.  But congrats on the beta!!!!!!!!!!!!  that number is GREAT!  Just try to relax and enjoy seeing your baby...we both cried too when we heard the heartbeat!

First of all, congrats!!! :) How exciting! I'm 18 weeks pregnant with twins & I didn't have morning sickness until maybe 8 weeks, but then it was just a little bit of nausea that didn't last long. I only got sick twice & that was in my second trimester, but that's it. So, try not to worry & best wishes to you & your dh!!!

How are the symptoms?

by Meadow841, Nov 07, 2009 08:14AM
Hello Lily MF! Well right now I am almost 6 weeks and I have some poking here and there. The flat out AF cramps subsided. I have sore bbs, and I get tired pretty early. That's about it! Still no morning sickness yet.

My cramps get worse after I do things, like for example- I was driving down a bumpy highway yesterday and the road was pretty bad. When I pulled up to my house, I had worse cramps and it made me worried. Did that ever happen to anyone?

You know I've noticed that when I if I am sitting and then I quickly get up I feel cramps, and today while I was taking a warm shower I got cramps while in the shower.
