Normal period - now spotting - NEVER spot

Here is my dilemma. I have been trying for 2 years to have #2 after a LONG break between 1 and TTC #2. Anyway, been on Clomid before, found a new RE and now am on Clomid again (CD 3-7). I finished my period 2 days ago and now I have mucus-y brown spotting for 2 days - I NEVER HAVE THIS!!! No spotting at ALL. It starts full force and ends with no spotting.
So, anyway, i am freaking out. Been having hot flashes/cold spells, puking for no reason, feeling nauseous. I have been on metformin for a month also. I never took the clomid with the metformin before - could this be causing my puking spells? I feel exactly like I did when I was preggo. I chart and my temps went down though.
Anyone have a full on period and then turn up preggo a few days later? Just wondering before I start my first round of Menopur on Saturday. Just confused - help please :)

I'm not sure what the answer is to your question but I'm wondering ... did you end up pregnant ?

I ended up pregnant that month - found out around the 14th of feb. But m/c 2 weeks later. Have an HSG today to do some checking and then more meds next month...
