You are actually suppose to increase your fluid intake by drinking at least 8-8ounce glasses of water or gatarade a day. I have heard that once your are pregnant your OHSS will continue with bloating for up to 8 weeks, I have the same problem I feel already 5 months pregnant and I find our Friday if I am actully preggers, even though I have been having positive HPTS.
When I overstimulated after my retrieval I had to cancel my transfer because they told me that if I did overstimulate then I could get really sick. I had to wait a month and a half for my ovaries to go back to their normalNormal saline flush sizes before I could transfer. My RE told me that the OHSS could last longer if you do get pregnant and definitely to increase your fluid intake. My RE told me to drink lots and lots of water or gatorade.
